trentonlf: As far as ion therapy that has never been mentioned and I would assume it’s becaise it’s not an option where we live.
While I don't know anything about HIT, it might be worth asking just to make sure it was considered (or unavailable). Doctors are human too, and it might not have crossed their mind in favor of treatments they are more familiar with.

trentonlf: There is chemo that will not hurt the baby as long as the mother is in their second or third trimester, and she is. The hope is that there’s no notebook cancer, and that’s what the exploratory surgery is for. If there is more cancer the chemo would need to be started now as the type of cancer it is spreads quickly if it sets in. Radiation at this stage is not an option as that would hurt the baby. As far as ion therapy that has never been mentioned and I would assume it’s becaise it’s not an option where we live.
Very very sorry to hear this ordeal may not be over. Has the exploratory surgery been scheduled?

Regarding ion therapy, as Lifthrasil, and Bookwyrm627 said, it can't hurt to ask.

PoppyAppletree: You've got one.
A lucky coincidence, thanks.
Can I have a bump in the mafia thread?

PoppyAppletree: Certainly.
I didn't realise wedges were an option, I'd rather have one of those.
