Please use: http://mantis.gog.com and include
1. steps to reproduce the bug (if possible)
2. screenshot or movie showing the bug (if possible)
3. Galaxy Client logs (see below)

Where can I find Galaxy logs on my computer?
On Windows 7 or later: C:\ProgramData\GOG.com\Galaxy\Logs
On Mac OS X: /Users/Shared/GOG.com/Galaxy/Logs

== FEATURE SUGGESTIONS ==

Please use: http://www.gog.com/wishlist/galaxy. For feature suggestions and votes on them please try do explain how Galaxy and its users will really benefit from it.

== IMPORT ALREADY INSTALLED GAMES TO GALAXY ==

1. For GOG games installed using installers from the last few months (so called Galaxy-compatible installers)
Click the Galaxy logo button on top of the sidebar and select "scan and import folders" - it will find all compatible games within that folder and add them to the Client.

2. For remaining GOG game INSTALLATIONS
Find the game in the Library (click on the image of the game), then click the More button and select "Manage Installation" -> "Import folder" and point the folder selector into the folder where that game is installed.

== KNOWN ISSUES ==
- throttling max download speed is not yet possible
- notifications related to incoming chat messages and friend requests does not always disappear instantly when consumed and may require reloading Store page
- games imported from existing installations will auto-update once, even if updating is disabled
- Moving Galaxy from /Applications on Mac OS X will stop the app from working
- Galaxy cannot be launched by other users on the same computer

For everyone who has a problem with missing api-ms-crt dlls in Client's versions post 1.1.5:
Please install one of those windows update: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/2999226 https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/3118401
You may need to update Windows to meet the requirements for these:
For Windows 8.1 and for Windows Server 2012: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/2919355
For Windows 7 and for Windows Server 2008 R2: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/976932

You can also try reinstalling Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributables 2015 (x86) if you meet above requirements.
Available here: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=48145

If above instructions doesn't work for you, create a separate issue on mantis.gog.com and we'll try to help you individually.

Please note that this solution only helps with the missing api-ms-crt dlls.

Answering this question: Why 1.1 doesn't work after updating to 1.2?

This is happening probably due to incompatible database from version 1.2, please delete this folder:
%ALLUSERSPROFILE%\GOG.com\Galaxy\storage
usually
C:\ProgramData\GOG.com\storage\

Then you'll have to use scan&import (menu under the top Galaxy logo) function to see your games back in Galaxy Client.

staruszek: Eeee, i know but the question is why.
gOLDgames
but what with old OS and compatybilty
Originally was intented to make old games run on modern OS and XP isnt modern anymore ;)

Galaxy doesnt work anymore because it uses Google Chrome rendering engine, which in newest updates did strip XP and Vista compatibility for security reasons.
Please make Game Settings tab more visible. I found it by accident it was hidden so deep. Lots of GOG games have options as standalone applications and tho I usually just look for them in the game folder, it's not very intuitive. The whole design is not very ergonomic. Also I get the message galaxy communication service crash a lot on both win7 desktop and win10 laptop. Anyways, I wish you all the best guys, you're doing great job.

Destro: After 1.1.13 is out, we’ll likely have one or maybe two smaller versions before 1.2. As for 1.2 itself, you can expect some pretty cool stuff there, but I can't share details at this point. We definitely plan an earlier preview version together with the announcement.
Sorry this is going to be long, but I was sitting here thinking and I happen to remember this. May I ask what happen? It was stated two more small updates before 1.2... It's been nearly four months now and many updates later (far more than two) and still 1.2 is nowhere to be found nor are we getting any kind of information about it. Now I'm not asking for any type of ETA or anything as I know we won't get an answer, but I don't think it's asking much to be kept in the loop a little bit.

As of the 5th of December, Galaxy has been available via alpha/beta for two years now. In those two years we have had ONE major update (update 1.1) that was released publicly adding a good number of new features. Now I realize you guys have done a lot of work via the backend in that time, but from a user stand point that has gone unnoticed by the vast majority since it's not as easily noticed. Hopefully though that groundwork is mostly laid out at this point, but we can't be sure because you guys don't communicate enough to really know either way.

I've said it before... why can't we get weekly or even monthly early preview builds? Why are we going months without being able to at-least get access to some features (excluding the overlay of course which is at-least moving a long in a good direction). Surly I have to assume in all this time you guys have managed to implement some of the more straight forward features that are requested and marked in progress on the wish list. Yet they are nowhere to be found on early preview and you have yet to give any kind of reply as to why you could or couldn't do this.

I feel like we are in this never ending loop of providing very little information, then releasing one major update (that may or may not land anytime soon), then back to providing very little information until the next major release which will be another 1 or 1.5 years later destroying any enthusiasm that might be generated for Galaxy.

I mean really? You guys can fix 5 or more bugs (some of them being rather major) nearly every week or two but can't add something like an FPS counter which has been marked as in progress for I don't know how many months now. Same as the bandwidth limiter. How about some UI improvements like moving the community link in the menu, something that at one point you guys actually did which was accidentally released and then removed, saying it was planned for a future update that never came. Something does not add up here and it's infuriating.

I've said this before, and I can't remember everything that was said... but it feels like feature updates are being held back for no other reason than to release as one big update to generate a lot of PR. But yet those of us who like Galaxy and are already using it suffer in the process as we wait. Once again GOG shows that it's good a coming up with nice ideas but always falls short on execution until the point where it dies and GOG slightly sweeps it a side pretending it never existed (aka GOG movies).

Now obviously Galaxy appears to be pretty successful, so I don't think that will happen to it... but one thing is for sure, the Galaxy team specifically needs to communicate more.

Now I ask again can you please share what the heck is going on? Sorry if I'm being highly critical which I tend to be alot, I know you guys are working hard and are doing good work... but something needs to change.

I want Galaxy and GOG to succeed, but this continues and continues to be a disappointing issue... and it feels like you don't even care.

I'm biting my tongue a little... ;) Don't worry BKGaming, we'll be more than happy to give new features to you and all other users there - we're super excited and it's a shame that you can't feel it too. We need it all polished nicely before releasing of course, I'm sure you understand that. :)

/me going to convert coffee to code now... :)

Of course, but I'm sure you can also understand from our point of view... that being told over and over again that features are being worked on only to be over a year out from that last really major update is hampering our excitement. By all means we could see them in early preview where we expect it to not be polished. Hint hint. ;)

Also I wish you guys the best. Sorry if this came off as a rant... I only comment because I care. :)

Unfortunately, and if so it really isn't worth it.
Starting today, I can't connect to Galaxy. I get a loading timeout error. Is it just me?

GOG can you please add an ability to turn off in Options current 100 games per page limit cap? Both in Galaxy and on site.
I guess many users want to have all their games on one long page instead of "pages"...
I accepted a friends request via the friends feature in Galaxy, and if bugged out. Everyone immediately showed as offline and it took a good 5 - 10 seconds after I closed/opened it again to show those friends who were online.
Please speed up the updates if possible. It's taking way too long.
