Please use: http://mantis.gog.com and include
1. steps to reproduce the bug (if possible)
2. screenshot or movie showing the bug (if possible)
3. Galaxy Client logs (see below)

Where can I find Galaxy logs on my computer?
On Windows 7 or later: C:\ProgramData\GOG.com\Galaxy\Logs
On Mac OS X: /Users/Shared/GOG.com/Galaxy/Logs

== FEATURE SUGGESTIONS ==

Please use: http://www.gog.com/wishlist/galaxy. For feature suggestions and votes on them please try do explain how Galaxy and its users will really benefit from it.

== IMPORT ALREADY INSTALLED GAMES TO GALAXY ==

1. For GOG games installed using installers from the last few months (so called Galaxy-compatible installers)
Click the Galaxy logo button on top of the sidebar and select "scan and import folders" - it will find all compatible games within that folder and add them to the Client.

2. For remaining GOG game INSTALLATIONS
Find the game in the Library (click on the image of the game), then click the More button and select "Manage Installation" -> "Import folder" and point the folder selector into the folder where that game is installed.

== KNOWN ISSUES ==
- throttling max download speed is not yet possible
- notifications related to incoming chat messages and friend requests does not always disappear instantly when consumed and may require reloading Store page
- games imported from existing installations will auto-update once, even if updating is disabled
- Moving Galaxy from /Applications on Mac OS X will stop the app from working
- Galaxy cannot be launched by other users on the same computer

For everyone who has a problem with missing api-ms-crt dlls in Client's versions post 1.1.5:
Please install one of those windows update: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/2999226 https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/3118401
You may need to update Windows to meet the requirements for these:
For Windows 8.1 and for Windows Server 2012: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/2919355
For Windows 7 and for Windows Server 2008 R2: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/976932

You can also try reinstalling Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributables 2015 (x86) if you meet above requirements.
Available here: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=48145

If above instructions doesn't work for you, create a separate issue on mantis.gog.com and we'll try to help you individually.

Please note that this solution only helps with the missing api-ms-crt dlls.

========================================================================================

Answering this question: Why 1.1 doesn't work after updating to 1.2?

This is happening probably due to incompatible database from version 1.2, please delete this folder:
%ALLUSERSPROFILE%\GOG.com\Galaxy\storage
usually
C:\ProgramData\GOG.com\storage\

Then you'll have to use scan&import (menu under the top Galaxy logo) function to see your games back in Galaxy Client.

DracoMagister: Any words about the Linux version? It's been almost a year Galaxy was released. I know is not the top priority, but a year later is a lot.
We don't have any dates for the Linux version of Galaxy yet.

I hope it's this year. This is what's keeping me from switching to GOG, i guess i'll check back next summer.
Any word yet on when we should be able to disable things like achievements and game time tracking? This has been listed as an existing feature on the GOG Galaxy page since it went up, but it's still not actually implemented for anything but the overlay.

when waiting for games to download/install/update my Galaxy Client grey's out and reloads my whole list, also messing up my previous installs. this has happened a lot it is more than just annoying it is destructive as it then RE downloads all of my games again. some are modded this is detrimental to those games mods must be removed after uninstallation. Reinstallng over a modded game is a critical hit for certain!.

Why don't turn off automatic updates for modded games?
more -> configure - install updates manually

I have a bad feeling that Galaxy, at least partly, overwhelmed GOG team and the progress is much slower than anticipated, if there is any progress...

I was excited about GOG Galaxy when it was announced some time ago...after trying it, I had to uninstall almost same day due to too many bugs! Even after all this time there seems to be so many problems with it that I have no desire to try it again!
I am not happy but I rather stick with Steam and give GOG a few years before they can get on top of this mess. It is sad that it is taking them so long to to get it fixed...sad also that I have lost confidence in GOG getting this client stable and bug free...

Eh it has some bugs but I use it nearly everyday with 120 games installed without much issue. I've not encountered anything to horrible yet. I really hope that Galaxy's development rate increases soon, but I have a feeling they have bitten off more that they can chew.

But hey it is a beta and this is what beta's are for.

Bugs in beta are understandable, as well as the fact that not every game works with Galaxy (for example I still can't play NWN using it, game crashes before showing first logo, while everything works when I use direct shortcut), but so many time passes and Galaxy STILL lacks features that old downloader had.

EDIT: ok, finally found the one exec that Galaxy is using to run NWN and set required compatibility settings... Still, Galaxy should just run every game with admin rights with option to turn it off and it would be much simpler.

GOG Galaxy needs more translations, for example portuguese and Spanish
GOG Galaxy is not only the client application that you use on your computer. It's also a set of functionalities that game developers can integrate into their games, so things like achievements, leaderboards, a whole multiplayer platform and many more.

We're hard at work all the time to add new functionalities and features, but not every one of them is visible immediately after launch. Some features require games that will be build on top of them. And of course we have to launch support for those features first, before game developers will be able to use them. This also requires us to "catch" developers in the right moment in their release cycle, so that they can still have time to integrate Galaxy.

On the Galaxy client side, as I think we've mentioned before, we're working on major redesign of our backend systems responsible for game installation and updates. Unfortunately this is not a very "sexy" feature, as benefits of it will not be instantly visible. But it will allow us to start reducing the size of game updates, improve stability and download speeds, and also release updates in a more timely manner, as game developers will be able to automate integration with Galaxy. It is a necessary step to be able to build new feature on a stable base. This new system is the result of all the data we've gathered during the beta.

Once the next Galaxy client update is ready (sorry, no ETA yet) we will resume "normal service" and move on to a nice user facing feature updates.

+1 to that. Actually it would be good to already have a portuguese and spanish forum here.
Today we've released a bug fix update to the game overlay available in The Witcher 3. If you've disabled the overlay previously due to random crashes you can now try it again. As always we appreciate your feedback.

If you encounter any further issues with the overlay please let us know, with some details about your computer (OS, graphics card, drivers version). You can also disable the overlay at any time, as for now it's listed as a DLC for The Witcher 3, click "More" dropdown in Galaxy game view for TW3 and go to "Configure" screen, there you can enable/disable the overlay.
Okay, I own many Gog purchased games. I followed the instructions on adding them to Gog Galaxy and they were for the most part manually installed. Now, can I go to the areas that they were previously installed and delete them?
