Question for clarification purposes. Do the mafia talk on their private chat during the day or only at night? Thanks

Answering only in the general (not specific to your game) sense: it depends on the game. Night-chat-only is the standard for gog Mafia games. Day chat is a possibility, and it has shown up in some games.

Thank you for the answer. I appreciate it. I did not know if the scum team could be coaching each other in private during the talking phase, or if they had to wait until the action phase to use their secret chat.

The specific "settings" (if you will) for a given game are entirely up to the mod. I can answer general questions, but I can't and won't answer questions specific to the on-going game (and if you have any questions specific to the current game, then you should only ask them in the game thread or PM the mod).

Keeping the game in the game thread is important. You can PM the mod, but don't PM anyone else (including/especially other players!) about the game. Not here, not on other sites, don't look over your brother's shoulder while he's trying to do game stuff, etc.

The one main exception: there is an observer/dead thread that generally becomes available to those that have died in the game, and non-players may also be granted access (at the mod's discretion). Any discussion about the game can take place openly in the observer thread since the thread is not public.
