Closing that bold-tag, in case someone still gets affected by the bleed (I think it is pretty rare now, but better safe than sorry).

I rarely make types that make me annoyed at the no-edit rule; bold-tags is one of those exceptions. Ugh and double ugh.

Sorry about that guys ... and agentcarra16.
here is Krypsyn's complete post:

*sigh*

...

I hate RP so much in Mafia games... so much... I have to admit that is part of the issue.

...

Unvote: drealmer7

No dang clue. I think the people on Agentcarra16's wagon are leaning more town, in the aggregate, and I like the content of drealmer7's posts better (except for the RP, and general wordiness; bleh). I am not sure what the heck is up with him pointing fingers at everyone who thinks he looks scummy; I get HijacK deja vu. On the other hand, agentcarra16 seems to be making very short and careful posts; sort of like scum trying to hide in a crowd.

I need to use a lifeline.

@flubbucket Who do you think is more likely telling the truth between drealmer7 and agentcarra16? drealmer7/agentcarra16/neither

If one of the mods will allow it he can fix the bolding issue and we can note the post has not been changed.

Are you misspelling this on purpose?

Of course. She is wearing the girdle.

She is wearing this girdle.
I will sign off on letting him close his bold tag.

Though since Trent copied it, it seems a bit irrelevant, I understand the urge. ;)
Some other information that may or may not be helpful:

1) That girdle is not a game item, and it was not mentioned in my PM (or even hinted at). It was just me being silly during RVS. I thought of it because agentcarra16 said she was a wizard. This made me think of Red Wizards of Thay. A prominent wizard in the BG games was Edwin, who was turn into a woman on a couple occasions and became Edwina. Amusingly, neither one of these changes were a result of that belt. (A Nether Scroll and Elminster were responsible, respectively, which I briefly mentioned in another post during RVS).

2) My name is not from Baldur's Gate or Baldur's Gate 2. It is certainly a coincidence that agentcarra16's in-game name is Korgan. I am not sure what to think of it; I don't like coincidence (they are like assumptions, that way).

this is why I hate RVS (maybe as much as you don't like RP.) Because I honestly don't know whether to believe you or not. I think RVS is an excuse people use to add a level to their TRUE playing strategies. It's like a self-created grey-area. Almost a cop-out, in my view, of playing the game more straightforward, which is how I prefer to play (just as you prefer me not to RP.) I always want to get down to it, and the fooling around annoys the F out of me.

I figure you might view my RPing as "fooling around/ not playing it straightforward" , but the thing about RPing is that that is what I'm actually doing, and intrinsically with that it's more "open/honest/readable if you know what to read" than RVS BS.

You suggest witches and witch-hunting. You mention Thay, and now Edwin, and I know that you are a sneaky mofo in mafia. And such roles and powers are not implausible for this setup. And adaliabooks has had something done to them.

SO, I cannot rule out the possibility that you may actually be a wizard/witch/player with some sort of magical powers of some sort, whether it be pro-town or anti-town aligned.

I certainly don't say this to antagonize you either, obviously you've unvoted me and I am happy about that. It gives me a little assurance that you are possibly NOT anti-town, I'm just talking to you, "outside" the game, to express some views I have/respond to yours. It seems timely, and whether you are telling the truth or not about it is irrelevant to this angle of the discussion. I don't expect you to say "yes! I'm a witch-hunter and my powers are..." heh.

RPing didn't work out for me this game,..I don't think I'll RP from here out in this game because of that. If I say anything flavorful it will probably just be in reference to the medieval setting type stuff, but for now I'ma just try and keep it serious and focused on playing.

RVS gets people talking. It also doesn't last very long. Personally, I am indifferent to it. All I really want out of Mafia is for people to vote early and often, and not beat around the bush about it.

Pretty much how I feel about RPing. At least with RVS, there are only a limited number of posts from each person to take with a grain of salt.

It was a joke. I had nothing to do with whatever may or may not have happened to adaliabooks.

You shouldn't rule out anything, obviously. I'll say that I am not any of those things, but I might very well being lying about it. I'm not, but of course I would say that wouldn't I? Or would I?

Why? Reverse OMGUS is just as bad as OMGUS, in my opinion.

cool cool, yep yep.

My choice to not RP this game has nothing to do with anyone else's view. It simply will not work this game, is essentially broken for me, and so, onward with the playing. I look forward to elaborating more after the game.

I know your real reason for unvoting me is actually because we agree on pancakes.

oh, and since we're at the top of a new page (it looks):

agentcarr16 - 4 (Leonard03, Zeogold, A_Future_Pilot, drealmer7)
drealmer - 4 (Lifthrasil, agentcarr16, JMich, trentonlf)

Not Voting:
QuadrAlien, Hunter65536, CSPVG, flubbucket, krypsyn

Agent and Drealmer are the closest to lynch, at L - 3 each.
With 13 alive, it takes 7 to lynch.

Am I that transparent? I thought I did a pretty good job of hiding my true reasons in that post with the screwed up bold-tag...

It must be the spell of partial invisibility you cast on yourself. Silly sorcerer.

That reminds me of my favorite Admin ability on a MUD I once played: petrify. There was a variant which would only partial petrify a victim, leaving them able to speak, but not move. Useful for when I would catch people cheating, and wanted to converse with them without them wandering off. The full variant I just used for games of 'Freeze Tag'; I'd like to think the players found it as fun as I did.
Oops . Wrong thread . Sorry .
