Maybe in a few month. Right now the money is needed elsewhere, Shadowrun Returns is on its way (I guess they will finally launch it on 25th of July) and I have still very very much to learn in Blood Bowl as it is.

My match with l0rdtr3k just finished.
You wouldn't think so, with 8 KO's 3 casualties and 1 death on his side, but It was a close call. I won 1-0 with a TD on the 8th turn from the defensive.
Second half I was on receiving and all I could do was defend. Fortunately it worked out in the end.

Piran's internet got interruped, we were on turn 8/9 and she was leading 0-1. The situation as itself wasnt, too bad for either although Piran had some edge there certainly.

Hopefully we can have rematch tomorrow evening and RL nor internet comes to mess things up second time.

Ugh, what can I say about this game. The big injuries of the game were my Krox (- 1 Str, think I should replace him?) and 2 deaths for Mystral, one being a Blitzer. Painful game, but damn close.

Lost my Kroxigor early due to a misclick, sending him sprawling onto the ground, breaking his fall with his face. Somehow managed to score 2 TD's back to back before the end of the half. In fact, I scored quick enough that I gave Mystral enough time to score after the turn counter rolled back one turn.

2nd half, we tied it up, ball was at the center of the field, and Mystral smacked the ball directly into my Saurus' hands. She never let go, eventually scoring the go-ahead TD that I so desperately needed.

Twas a tough game. Good win that I needed though.

So the game between DigitalHero's lizards and my dark elves ended in a 3-2 victory for the lizardmen. I made far too many defensive mistakes to hope for something better especially at the start, since he quickly led 2-0.

I guess I was so happy about injuring his Kroxigor and one of his skinks that I forgot about the ball. Then I managed to equalize but the ball fell to his saurus after I knocked out his skink ball carrier, and the saurus managed to get through my defense on turn 14.

I ended the match with 2 deaths, one to my merc, and one to one of my blitzers. In other, completely related news, I'm considering firing my apothecary after he couldn't do anything to save my player.

Yes, fire him.
With only St4, he's worse than a saurus:
He has bonehead.
He is more expensive.
He is eating up the slot, preventing you from buying another.

iippo: !! Reminder concerning disconnections and resetting match results !!

Ive been asked about DC's and resetting/replaying matches a few times now, so i thought id try to clarify their handling in bit more detail - although they are mentioned on the threads first posts rule -section.

In case of disconnection in a match, no matter what the reason, it is up to the opponent whether he/she wants to reset the match result and play rematch OR keep the autowin. Saying that you dont want to play rematch and want to let the autowin result stand is totally fine. It his/her right to choose so.

It is not necessary to give some "reason" for not wanting to play rematch. "No" is no and that stands.

Rematches are -encouraged-, but not enforced.

RL happens, internet connections are faulty, games crash and BB is full of bugs that can mess your match etc - but these do not give anyone automatic right to have rematch. You can ask the opponent, but it is his/her choice.

Naturally if some very-very super-special circumstances appear - Admins have right to change things, but as everyone here is polite, respects the rules and their opponent - i am certain that kind of thing will not be necessary.

Troll slayer is one of the few dwarves that doesn't get it as standard & it is annoying as hell....

Vote for Mighty Blow. There is lots of tackle in the team already so there isnt -so- sudden need for it (my view).

MB would give extra hitting power, especially nice for knocking those big guys off the pitch...youre using slayers to slay them yes?
