Cavalary: Then again, it doesn't need to crash to notice if there's a leak. Check the RAM used in task manager every 20-30 min and see if it goes steadily up. Or maybe sharply up at some point.
Yeah I know.
I played with nvidia overlay all the time.
Nothing unusual.
As far as rememeber - for about an hour Skyrim slowly eating RAM but then it stops for around 6 or so gb (don't remember details).
After that it is more or less stable - sometime a little more, sometime a little less.

mrkgnao: I have checked King's Bounty Crossworlds, but it's a complicated story.

1) King's Bounty Crossworlds has four campaigns (all accessible from the main menu of the one game exe):
- Armored Princess
- Champion of the Arena
- Defender of the Crown
- Orcs on the March

2) Orcs on the March is a greatly expanded version of Armored Princess, essentially Armored Princess 2.0, if you will. IMHO, there is little reason to play Armored Princess nowadays, as Orcs on the March contains all of its content and much more, but you never know.

3) King's Bounty Crossworlds has separate per-language installers. And the issue here is that the Russian version only has three campaigns, not four. Armored Princess is missing. So it's not so much that Russian is missing from Armored Princess as that Armored Princess is missing from the Russian version.

4) Now the question is whether that is different on Steam. Unlike GOG, Steam has two products here. It sells Armored Princess and it sells Crossworlds, whereas GOG sells only the latter. There is no point looking at the Armored Princess gamepage on Steam, as that is a product not sold on GOG at all. So the question is whether Steam's Russian Crossworlds has four campaigns or three and the only way to answer that is to install that version on Steam.

5) Now, given that King's Bounty is one of my favourite video game series of all time, I happen to own it both on GOG and on Steam. The English Crossworlds version is the same in both (ver. 1.3.1).

6) Unfortunately, I do not know how to download the Steam Russian Crossworlds version via SteamCMD, only the English, so I cannot check the Russian version myself. I do not use the Steam client, just like I do not use Galaxy.

7) Hopefully, someone else has Crossworlds on Steam and can check the Russian.

8) Meanwhile, I suggest moving the comment from Missing Languages to Others and rephrasing it as "The Russian version is missing the Armored Princess original campaign".

9) If nobody comes forward with a proof that this is different on Steam's Russian Crossworlds within some reasonable period of time (e.g. a month), I suggest deleting this entry completely.
I agree it's a complicated case, but for the moment I'd just keep it under Missing languages. We should check either the state of the game on Steam, or whether "Orcs on the march" actually has all the content of "Armored Princess" or not. You said it has, but then you said "but you never know". What do you mean, that you're not 100% sure that "Orcs on the march" features everything from "Armored Princess"?

avatar
Cavalary: Considering point #2 you made, does it really matter?

And I'd also ask whether missing the Russian language would actually count, under the current circumstances and considering GOG's response to them.
If by you're referring to the sanctions against Russia, they're not important. GOG still has hundreds, if not thousands of games where Russian language is available, many of which came out during the war (even S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 has Russian text). And a quick search through the spreadsheet shows that it's not even the most frequently missing language, so it's obvious that there's no attempt by GOG to boycot Russian language. After all it's a language that is spoken by milions of people even outside Russia.

I am sure that Orcs on the March is Armored Princess plus new content and mechanics.

My "but you never know" referred to my "there is little reason to play Armored Princess nowadays". There might be people who want to play Armored Princess even though it contains less, just like there are people who prefer to play other original games rather than their enhanced versions. For example:
1) Because they played it years ago and want to try it again in exactly the same way.
2) Because they want a shorter game.
3) Because they don't like some content or mechanism added in Crossworlds (e.g. adrenaline).
4) Because they want to compile a list of all the differences between Armored Princess and Orcs on the March.
5) etc.

I see your point, that makes a lot of sense.

I'll reword the entry to that purpose. Should you have time, you could check the game on Steam and let us know. No need to hurry of course, do that when you find a way.

Obviously wasn't saying that they'd remove the language where it already exists, but would make some sense to not make an effort to add it where it's missing.

It really wouldn't. Even outside Russia and Belarus, Russian is the native language of millions of people, many of whom aren't ethnic Russians (like Ukrainians and Kazakhs), and it's used as a language of foreign communication by people from the former USSR. The same way we take the use of English for granted when we're on the internet, and many of us are satisfied when a video game is in English and don't care about having it translated in our language. Russian localisation makes a game quickly available to the whole former Soviet block even when it's not translated into the individual languages spoken there. It wouldn't make sense philosophically, and economically, to not make an effort into it

Is there no workaround you can find? Maybe there is a way to set the language via SteamCMD. Take your time of course, but unfortunately I can't check the game myself because I don't have it.

From the SteamCMD manual:

app_update <appid> [-validate] [-language <lang>] [-beta <betaname>] [-betapassword <pwd>]

Thank you. It worked. Where can I find this "manual"?

Thanks to Geralt, I was able to download the Russian Steam version of Crossworlds. It is the same as GOG's. It too does not have the Armored Princess campaign.

You can safely delete the entire "King's Bounty: Crossworlds GOTY" row.

That's good news. It was removed
I noticed this title on the main gog page "Fate Reawakened" , having no idea what it was i was curious and checked the entry :
https://www.gog.com/en/game/fate_reawakened

I saw :

The GOG versions of FATE: Reawakened currently contains only the enhanced first game in the series.

then checking the reviews, the first one is telling a lot :

The "real" version of Fate Reawakened, available on that other store, contains all four Fate games in one remastered package. The release here only has the first game, and there are no guarantees that the remaining games will be made available in the future. That means this is not truly Fate Reawakened, but a demo you have to pay for. Why GOG allowed this release to happen is inexplicable. Stay away until/unless the publisher fixes this and releases the actual full game.

checked other store and i see in description of that game :

All 4 Games, All Better than you Remember
Play (or replay) through all 4 FATE games in their reawakened greatness. FATE, FATE: Undiscovered Realms, FATE: The Traitor Soul, and FATE: The Cursed King are all included in this bundled release. No matter which game is your favorite, you’ll be able to dive back into all the dungeons and determine your FATE!

Is that some kind of bad joke from gog ?

Bad joke from the dev. Apparently they'll decide whether to add the rest later depending on how this incomplete, pointless release sells. So, you know, self-fulfilling prophecy. Treat a store's customers like crap, then complain that your product isn't selling well and use it as an excuse for not adding the rest.

Wow, thanks for pointing me to the true culprits of this ridiculous "strategy"
Hilarious in the same time, i guess they will wonder why they'll fail to sell what is an incomplete inferior product here when other stores have the full package.
Another dev added to my "never buy anything from them" list.

ERBlank:
Memoria confirmed. When one opens the game, one is presented with two rotating carousels of flags, one for audio, one for text. Neither carousel has a German flag (so it's no only the audio that is missing, the subtitles are missing too).
avatar
ERBlank:
Men of War confirmed. The game has language-specific installers and the languages listed as missing in the spreadsheet are indeed not available for download.

Same goes for Men of War: Assault Squad.

Same goes for Men of War: Vietnam.
