Cavalary: I'd find it really weird if GOG support would request evidence of something about the games they sell that's so easily verifiable, (…)

vv221: It’s a classic move when you want a customer to give up on a support request. They don’t care about the actual video or screenshot, they only want an easy way to close the support request without having to do anything about it.

Here I’ve even seen them use straight up lies do dismiss support requests, not caring in the slightest that these could trivially be identified as lies (like pretending they could not reproduce a problem that can technically not be avoided due to missing files in the GOG build of the game).
Not, It more of standard practice with support.
Nah, Skyrim is naturally prone to this issue, it may happen if too many or incompatible mods used. On a unmodded game it may only happen if something on the engine is broken, perhaps the DX API, as some Linux users seem to have fixed the issue by simply using Vulkan.

Some gamers say they still have to restart Skyrim every couple of hours, even on the Steam version, because it slowly will leak there too but probably not that fast.

Xeshra: Which version we talk about? There are 2 GOG builds.

Thats what they say:
https://www.reddit.com/r/skyrim/comments/1knkm9o/special_edition_gog_memory_leak_ram_not_gpu_any/

Using Vulkan as API could fix it but i guess Skyrim is only using DX, so have to use a API converter (usually used on Linux, guess it may work for Windows too).
This is what happens when a different build is created for another store. GOG should have just asked for the same version as the steam one without drm. And according to this user using dxvk increases the gpu wattage.. They really need to fix this asap before skyblivion releases on GOG because it will not look nice when lots of people start reporting the same issue.
https://www.gog.com/forum/elder_scrolls_series/memory_leak_in_skyrim_anniversary_edition_on_gog/post56
DRM free is not the same build, because the DRM kinda was pretty hard coded. However, at least on the newest build they probably screwed it up, i dunno.

People... just use the first 1.6.659 and your problems should be solved.

The 2 updates (1170, 1179) was only done in order to "connect" to the Steamworks, as far as i can say, and it seems they screwed up doing so.

All basic mods are available for 1.6.659.

The 1170 is actually the Steam version. It seems they was uploading it to GOG in between but this version is probably damaged. 10 days after they tried to correct it using a new version but perhaps another failure.

Guess the only good version was the very first ever released.

ERBlank:
Escape Goat confirmed (more or less). The game has a language setting with only two options: English and French (BETA). I take the "(BETA)" to mean that the French is not fully implemented; and there is no Italian, German or Spanish at all.

Edward_Carnby: At least for the Skyrim - there is a chance that they can't reproduce it.
For example - I experienced zero problems with the base game (as I told in another thread - don't have anniversary upgrade so I can't check with it) on my rig.
No memory leaks. Everything works just fine.

Maybe. Just maybe. Everything is good on their side too...
Would also have a lot to do with the RAM on that computer. One thing if you run it on a system with 8 GB, quite another with 32 GB or 64 GB. Leak may still be there but take too long to reach crash level to be noticeable in any reasonable gaming session.
And then there are the installed mods as well. And graphics settings and what not.

Yep I know.
Just for experiment I played for hours back in days.
Nothing unusual.
Having 16gb of RAM. Every setting is maxed out.

Just fresh vanilla install of latest offline version.

ERBlank: It's not because I don't trust anyone in here. It's just so that I have screenshots to send to GOG support when I'll write the report. I did the same when I sent the previous report.

On the Skyrim discussion a user claimed that, when they reported that the game was affected by a memory leak, GOG support requested them to upload a video record.

kultpcgames: I get it. Do you think you'll be successful with this? Support is so overwhelmed...
Well, my previous ticket was solved after over a month. I just sent a second batch of games with languages that don't appear in the store a few days ago, so we'll have to wait quite some more.

On the store page of Escape Goat they added French as an available language, so I'm removing French altogether and leave Italian, German and Spanish

You'd think we would have hear back from support then, if the game is in fact working as intended there's no reason not to... say it? tho at this point, with so many people experiencing the same crashes, it would be completely absurd to say that

Then again, it doesn't need to crash to notice if there's a leak. Check the RAM used in task manager every 20-30 min and see if it goes steadily up. Or maybe sharply up at some point.

Far Cry 2 confirmed. The game only has English, French and German installers, and the English version has no language selection setting that I can find.

Hell Pie confirmed. The game has a language selection setting, which indeed does not include Turkish.

ERBlank:
I have checked King's Bounty Crossworlds, but it's a complicated story.

1) King's Bounty Crossworlds has four campaigns (all accessible from the main menu of the one game exe):
- Armored Princess
- Champion of the Arena
- Defender of the Crown
- Orcs on the March

2) Orcs on the March is a greatly expanded version of Armored Princess, essentially Armored Princess 2.0, if you will. IMHO, there is little reason to play Armored Princess nowadays, as Orcs on the March contains all of its content and much more, but you never know.

3) King's Bounty Crossworlds has separate per-language installers. And the issue here is that the Russian version only has three campaigns, not four. Armored Princess is missing. So it's not so much that Russian is missing from Armored Princess as that Armored Princess is missing from the Russian version.

4) Now the question is whether that is different on Steam. Unlike GOG, Steam has two products here. It sells Armored Princess and it sells Crossworlds, whereas GOG sells only the latter. There is no point looking at the Armored Princess gamepage on Steam, as that is a product not sold on GOG at all. So the question is whether Steam's Russian Crossworlds has four campaigns or three and the only way to answer that is to install that version on Steam.

5) Now, given that King's Bounty is one of my favourite video game series of all time, I happen to own it both on GOG and on Steam. The English Crossworlds version is the same in both (ver. 1.3.1).

6) Unfortunately, I do not know how to download the Steam Russian Crossworlds version via SteamCMD, only the English, so I cannot check the Russian version myself. I do not use the Steam client, just like I do not use Galaxy.

7) Hopefully, someone else has Crossworlds on Steam and can check the Russian.

8) Meanwhile, I suggest moving the comment from Missing Languages to Others and rephrasing it as "The Russian version is missing the Armored Princess original campaign".

9) If nobody comes forward with a proof that this is different on Steam's Russian Crossworlds within some reasonable period of time (e.g. a month), I suggest deleting this entry completely.

Considering point #2 you made, does it really matter?

And I'd also ask whether missing the Russian language would actually count, under the current circumstances and considering GOG's response to them.

It's a good question. It's up to ERBlank. I frankly, would simply remove the entry altogether.
