Grargar: I have heard nothing of a region lock for the game, so I'll go with the most plausible theory; GOG forgot to update the storepage.
That's good to hear, hope GOG will update the game's page.

It might take a further while. Japanese language support was added in October... of 2017.

Kyousuke.: Saw in the gdocs that Shovel Knight doesn't support japanese language/interface on GOG, but this is not the case.

Source: See attachment (support for both only kana and kanji)

What I don't understand though is: Why the language is not listed on the store page? Is this yet another game region locked in Japan?
It happens sometimes which is why some of them are marked as unconfirmed, can't really check without owning the game, so thanks for the heads-up. :)

01kipper: Perhaps it got missed in the bulk of my last post, or perhaps I'm just impatient (my apologies in advance if it's just my impatience), but I wanted to repeat the important points from my last post:
First of all, sorry for not responding sooner. Second, yes, ports by other publishers/developers are included. This is as long as a game or port is still available for purchase digitally. We have removed some previously that you basically can't get anymore.

omega64: Edit:
Just a quick correction, you've accidentally put "Missing paid Soundtrack DLC" as the title for Broken Age (cell A42).

Added a thank you section to the third post, might move stuff around later.

That is true but keep in mind that this game was never meant to have multi player. Also it seems as if the servers are quite empty so the multi player would pretty much be useless.

So? It's still a part of the game history. Maybe they could have made it LAN only like so many ex-Gamespy games (unless it didn't have LAN support in the first place, in which case nvm) Regardless, Bioshock 2 Classic is on this list for a similar reason, so I think we can be petty for this one ; )

I just wanted to add this tiny note - nothing more and nothing less. It's not up to me if the game gets on the list because of this or not. Also, since the game also is missing Mac and Linux builds (which probably was NOT intended to be this way ;)) it will get on the list no matter if MP would matter or not.
