The dev of Blood Nova a point-and-click space fantasy game, would like to bring the game to GOG but needs more votes:

Today is the first Friday of the month, so Ziggurat should be bringing a new retro game today for Retro First Friday. They just added Megafortress Collection to their upcoming list on Steam so that looks like the most likely candidate.
This complete package includes the original 1991 DOS classic Megafortress, the Operation Sledgehammer and Operation Skymaster expansions, and the Mission Editor for Operation Skymaster.

"Unreal Tournament 3 X is coming, completely free with crossplay between Steam, EGS, and GOG ...

"No microtransactions and no strings attached. This is the fully-featured, award-winning first-person shooter you fell in love with… completely free.""
Any news on this?

I am still quite interested. Not only for finally being able to try this game out for the first time, but also for being able to complete another game series in my game collection (not to mention that it would be given away for free, right?). But this wait, with absolutely no news... kinda sucks.

:/

The Steam page of the game lists LAN-PVP as a game mode in its game card. Hopefully we'll get this feature.

... which serves to show you that LAN multiplayer is only dead for SaaS-oriented gaming companies who want to "own" a game's multiplayer component.

ConsulCaesar: I would love to see Hellblade 2 here, but as far as I know nothing has ever been said.
Microsoft bought the developer, so it will probably never come to GOG, just like Pentiment or Grounded.

That's not always the case. Microsoft owns Double Fine and Psychonauts 2 came out here just fine with no delays.

Will this have its own single-player offline mode too?

Well, Bethesda released Skyrim here a good while after they were gobbled up by Microsoft, so anything can happen I guess.

Psychonauts 2 is an example of how we won't get anything new from Microsoft, not the opposite. Double Fine made promises to release on GOG before the Microsoft acquisition and now it remains as the one and only Xbox Game Studios game on GOG.

Microsoft is not touching many already published games, but they block all the new ones. We may still get Fallout 4 and a few Dooms, but we will not get Starfield, or Elder Scrolls 6 or Fallout 5. Probably not even in 10 years from now.

We have Obsidian games on GOG, but not Pentiment or Grounded, which were published by Xbox Game Studios. We have Remedy games on GOG, but not Quantum Break, which was published by Xbox Game Studios.
We also do not have any classics. We have no Halo, we have no Fable, we have no Gears of War, we have no Forza, etc. We have NOTHING! Microsoft is one of the largest DRM-Lovers out there. They're opposed to everything GOG stands for.

Remember, Microsoft is a bad guy, trying to pretend to be good. They will not yank existing games from PlayStation or block some existing legacy Bethesda titles from coming to GOG. They will block new ones though. It's funny how they keep promising COD for PlayStation for 10 years, but say nothing about Bethesda, Obsidian or any other studio's games.

So again, just because we have the original Hellblade, does not mean that a sequel is guaranteed. There's a whole thread dedicated to abandoned series on GOG.

I would love nothing more than to be proven wrong, but I don't think that I will.
