It doesn't show it now, but it appeared earlier with price 17$ and 80% discount. The game has splendid reviews, 80% discount would be a day one purchase for me.

That would be nice! Let's hope GOG aren't just playing with us. ;-)

In a fresh (May 7, 2020) update on their kickstarter page, developers of gigeresque "Scorn" are still confirming that the game will be released on GOG.
Will the game still be released on PC and on what storefronts?
Of course. Scorn will be released on Steam, Windows Store, and GOG.

I know that when the campaign was just launched, the target stores were already mentioned here, but I think it makes sense to mention that they have not abandoned their plans (in our time it is not uncommon when initial promises are quickly “forgotten”).
Especially when you consider that the developers have established partnerships with Microsoft and be part of the Xbox Series X exclusivity.

Nice!

For a WICKED long time I was super excited for a game called Star Command Galaxies - it's almost (even down to visual style) the exact same game as Space Haven, but SCG looks like a dead project at this point.

So hopefully this one captures a lot of what I was hoping for in Galaxies. The main difference seems that Galaxys was more RPG and tactics + building out ship.

This one looks like it *could* be more "resource" focused (that whole gas system makes me a bit worried about micromanagement) but there is enough of a dose of ship construction and tactical combat / exploration that I hope I'll enjoy it.

Galaxies only interested me more because it seemed more "build ship / RPG / explore / upgrade / stats and fight" - whereas this one seems to be a bit more management / resource / builder.

I hope I'm wrong and there's as much emphasis on building / upgrading a cool ship, upgrading guys stats and exploring as I thought Galaxies would have!
