I own 238 titles purchased here. This isn't the first time and I have to think probably isn't the last time stuff will disappear and reappear, etc. I even had one purchase removed over a licensing issue (i was offered a refund).

My solution early on was to simply download everything and then back it up redundantly. So I have it all on two different discs just in case there is a problem someday. I'd encourage everybody else to do the same. It didn't even take half a terabyte to back up all my games from here. USB backup drives are cheap and so worth it.

Anyway, if I want to install and play something I will try to download whatever the latest, greatest install of it is here (I do not worry about updates or backing those up. It just isn't worth the time and effort to me) and if it is missing, the newest version has some problem or whatever, I can just retrieve it off a drive here.

GOG is not dependable where this stuff is concerned. They just aren't. As I said, this ain't the first time. So naturally, I am inclined to think it ain't the last time either.

Avoid the pain and angst. Back everything up right away after purchasing it.

Sorry, I had no idea what you were talking about the first time and I still don't. Film reference I don't recall?
Fallout 1 is now back on my shelf again. Fingers crossed that it stays there this time.

Fallout seems to be back with most people's shelves, including mine. Are you still missing it?

Yes, do this. Maybe they've missed something and other people are still affected too.
Temporary resolution.
