Dessimu: Was this game by any chance the quickest one ever?
I do think so, not counting "Assassin in the Palace" and/or "Russian Roulette".

yogsloth: Would anyone mind if If single-handedly claimed credit for winning by virtue of my massive gut-only last-moment vote change to shift momentum?
Only if you admit that I was right about Lifthrasil for almost all of Day 1. Sure, sure... I am positive I was wrong about some of my other speculations, but my prime target was scum! :)
Oh, do give me feedback btw. I bet there are quite a few things I could improve, should I ever attempt to run a game again.

trentonlf: I must say that was one of the more entertaining day ones I've participated in, nice setup :-)

Ixamyakxim: The relationships, "flavor" and game storyline made RVS a lot more fun than usual by providing a bit of good Role Playing "push" in certain directions for all the characters. I liked that quite a bit too!
This is the sort of thing I have done extensively for my setup, just so everyone knows!

As well as EVERY SINGLE PM being absolutely completely different.

You seem to have a nack for sniffing...out...scum.

"Takes one to know one" sort of thing?
So anyway, thanks much to JMich - what a hilariously fun setup!

It's the proof of a good setup that a bunch of people who usually don't role-play step into it easily for the benefit of others, and with great creativity. I had so much fun being Mariah! She's just such a sweet girl at heart, isn't she?

So anyway, my great "plan" would have involved everyone comparing their + and - impressions of others from their PMs, and trying to find a pattern, without tipping off Scum, whom I felt wouldn't have the same structure.

This was enforced when Lift revealed an incredibly content-rich backstory totally unlike my own, that didn't seem to have a + to any other character.

But looking over them now, it probably wouldn't have worked, as only some Townies had + information.

So my plan was potatoes.

Again, this was tons of fun. Thanks JMich!

Looks like I'd better write some damn flavor in a hurry!
Thank you for hosting JMich, that was fun!
Thanks, JMich, for a game! Flavor was pretty intense and rich. Like some people, I had to draw family tree to keep track of who was who. As per suggestions - two serial killers?

Nah, just keep the signups open until you finish the flavor. You know, month long sign up thread is normal ;)

Two independent ones? Or working together? And would that mean that the vig would make it up to 3 night kills?

Sort of. When I was scum last game, Krypsyn was onto me. And he guessed the whole mafia crew right eventually. I am intrigued as to what Krypsyn does when he is a mafioso.

I find it amusing that my 'role-play' of how my first wife died was pirate-style cage-match with Erin wielding a cutlass. Apparently she died at sea, and Erin liked weapons a lot, accordingly to other PMs. I had none of that info in my PM... goofy.

Dessimu:
Based on how powerful I was, I was figuring there had to be near majority of scum at the start (maybe even as many as four), and maybe another really powerful townie or two. This way, I was supposed to even the odds by blasting early and often - before they were able to fully control a lynch, just by odds a lynch or one of my shots should hit.

OR I thought I was supposed to be a mechanism to sow confusion with my night kills and there would only be one scum. In this case, I also thought there'd be an anti-town neutral or two that would be hard to find with a regular lynch / investigation. I was (hopefully!) meant to take them out.

Oh. 3 night kills? No, no, that is bad. Unless! Like Bookwyrm suggested (if I remember it right), these killers have restrictions that say... One can kill every *even* night (even as in number of night), the other can kill on *odd* nights
Thanks for hosting the game, JMich. I had quite a bit of fun with the 'mean' family banter.

Also, I should have gone with my initial suspicions instead of backtracking (although my vote didn't matter). I actually really need to stop twisting myself into all sorts of 'logical' knots, simply because I doubt an initial read.
