Bookwyrm627: Vote Dessimu.
Why?
avatar
cristigale: I'm a little suprised Krypsyn has left his vote (a whole 12 hours) on RWarehall, where's the vote hopping?
I was going to move my vote to you at midnight last night (your time), but I fell asleep before doing so. There is now little point in moving my vote, since my primary reason has been obviated by your own actions.

Also, I am not sure what you are implying here. I barely vote-hopped at all in Game 35, did I Bookwyrm627? ;)

avatar
Lifthrasil: Flavourwise it would actually make sense, if daddy Krypsyn and his two children formed a team
I have 3 kids and a wife. Does 5 Mafia make sense, flavorwise?! ;)

avatar
Lifthrasil: No, your trademark is 'Heh.'
You assume I only have one trademark?

Heh.

Krypsyn: I have 3 kids and a wife. Does 5 Mafia make sense, flavorwise?! ;)
No. But you and your brats from your first marriage might make sense. The second wife and her offspring aren't necessarily part of your family business yet. But, as I stated, the matter probably isn't so easy.

Oh, but the second wife with her brat are completely innocent? Your reasoning is one big WIFOM out of many others like this one. Basically, what Bookwyrm said: there can be any combination of scum both flavor-wise and flavor-unwise. Me, my sis and my papa. Erin, Lizzy and Allan. You, your balls-less husband (you called him so, not me) and the bastard. Both childless families. Heck, maybe the patriarch was so clumsy that he fell on a sharp metal tooth-pick and punctured his artery. I think you had to too much wine already, lady. Try bobbled water, I hear it is healthy.

Dessimu: Try bobbled water, I hear it is healthy.
Mind-bottling isn't it?
avatar
Lifthrasil: Why did no one answer to my question, what you all did in that fateful night? Do you all have to hide something? I am suspicious of each and every one of you. All of you would be capable of such a deed ... apart from my husband, of course. In his case I am sure he is innocent, because murdering someone takes balls.
I took that as the fishing CPSVG referred to

CSPVG: here
. I suppose a slip could come in the fluff.

avatar
Lifthrasil: (another thought OOC: how important is fluff in this game, what do you think?
I assume the fluff is just that, fluff. Having biases for/against players going into the game based on plot related relationships seems a slippery slope. Given the details JMich provided already, I assume the solution (who is scum) will be woven together well at the end. Not sure how much good it does us to speculate what that might entail. It's entertaining, I'll give it that. My guess is it'll be counterproductive if we get too wrapped-up in the fluff.
avatar
Lifthrasil: The second wife and her offspring aren't necessarily part of your family business yet.
Look at the ages involved. My second marriage isn't exactly new. There are quite a few holes in your logic.

I'll give you one thing: I have been handling the family business on the mainland, while the rest of you sots have been lazing about doing jack-all to grow the family fortune.

avatar
Lifthrasil: But, as I stated, the matter probably isn't so easy.
Likely not.
I assume the same thing. Fluff is most likely meaningless. But in case it isn't, mine does say that I worry a bit about Constance's infatuation with the family's money given we already have enough money to live very well and have a nice retirement. Particularly ironic given Flub's "broke" post.

If it is supposed to be a clue, figure better throw it out there before I can't.

Love you, dear Flubby!

cristigale: <bah>
avatar
Dessimu: Since when are you worried about some Williams guy, huh? Did he make you some kind of sweet proposal?
Not worried about Uncle Marvin, his guilt/innocence has yet to be determined. Although I must admit, he and Aunt Constance are one unusual pair. (as witnessed above) ;-)

I do worry when wagons form lightening fast for no apparent reason.

What about when they dissipate just as lightning fast for an equal dearth of reason?

Lifthrasil: To Vitek: can we haz votecount?
A misquote earlier and now you don't know who the moderator is???

My tits are down here thank you!!!

Aunt Cathy, do you even know where you are right now?
So, past me made some notes. I'm not really sure what he was on about when he made them, but I'll try my best to decipher them (there are only two of them in anyway, so I don't think it's a big loss).

Firstly, I have written:

#54 - Talks about name.

#65 - Drew family tree.

These are in reference to cristigale, and I think what I was getting at was that I think she hasn't posted much of substance (although she has posted a few times since then). Perhaps I was going to ask her to contribute more, but really, having thought about it, it's still rather early on in the day, so I can see why she hasn't had much to say just yet, so and don't think it's indicative of anything, really.

My second note reads simply:

#95 - Dessimu

I remember what I was going to bring up with this post, since Lifth's post #131 jogged my memory. I don't like trying to connect in-game flavour with possible roles. Perhaps it is the case in this game that flavour and roles are connected, but I really don't think it's helpful to assume that this is the case.

For instance, I could see a scenario in which Lifth, dedo and a third person (depending on who you like for flavour purposes, this could be Krypsyn, Rwarehall, or trentonlf) make up the mafia team from a flavour perspective. One of them sleeps with Lifth's character, has an illegitimate son (dedo), and then plots to take the family's money and live happily ever after, kind of thing.

I don't think it's helpful to follow through with this sort of thinking though.

There's also part of me that wants to think that yogsloth's aggressively violent valley girl act is all some sort of clever mafia ploy. Hide in plain sight, acting out the part of a sort of psychopathic character, and have an in-built denial when confronted about it. Then again, it could all just be 'flavour' that yog is writing to stave off the boredom of day one.

In conclusion: I have nothing to add, really.

Oh, Uncle Gene. Sometimes I just want to bash your plump, middle-aged face in with a lead pipe just to hear the delightful crunching sounds of your ocular bones exploding in a fine particulate mist. You big silly goober!

My dear, if I have to spend another moment as your Uncle Gene, I may just let you.
