The section about up rep needs a little rework. It can be interpreted that you get +5 rep when someone +1's your post.

I don't see a reference for JERKMUTER.

I don't see a reference for,''What/Why/Where is/how/this happened to my post or thread deletion by other forum members''And how it's done and accomplished.

Starmaker: It happens. Shockingly many people don't know what a file system is or what to do with installers and still operate computers somehow.

(I don't blame them. Most people, including me, don't know the first thing about how drugs work, and yet they keep popping pills. Now that "app stores" reduced the need to interact with files, fewer people know they're even a thing. This sort of selective ignorance is not a moral failure in general, it's bad in the specific because people are getting scammed, legally fleeced, and locked out of productive jobs.)
You still need to know how to use the drugs, don't you? I'm honestly disgusted by people who buy a piece of technology without the desire to learn who to freaking OPERATE it or UNDERSTAND it in even the most remote sense.

JMich: Indeed, gogrepo. Thank you for reminding me.

tinyE: Joke missed :P
Not really, but I decided to be a jerk and ignore it. After all, I am a horrible human person ;)
I am not new to the forum, but I still clicked there. What should I do? Am I in trouble now?

They do know. They click a button, it does something, and then they can write and mail text and watch videos and whatnot.

You probably have a cell phone. Can you do a fourier transform? Do you know the difference between amplitude and frequency modulation? Hell, can you write Maxwell's equations without googling? I can. You might. But consider this: if only people who knew how cell phones work used them, cell phones wouldn't have existed, because towers and sats cost money to build and maintain.

So when our lawyers click on the complaint management icon, load up a complaint and write "Dear customer, sincerely, go fuck yourself pursuant to article whatever of the civil code" without knowing about nonces or json or what version of the jvm the server has installed, that's fine. And when, once in a blue moon, someone emails a 150-page scan in umpteen parts and the unfortunate soon-to-be-visually-impaired paralegal has to find out how 7zip works, that's also fine.

I didn't mean that they should know the functionalities in-depth and technical information, but you know... basic stuff that we all learned when we were first sat in front of the screen.

zeogold: Why can't I post links?
- If your rep is less than 10, you cannot post links
I was able to post links at 7 which was mentioned by this user as well, so I know I'm not imagining things.

Hopefully someone else could confirm/tell the exact number.

zeogold: What is the Community Giveaway?
- This is a series of giveaways which have sprung up and have been successively hosted by users trentolf, IAmSinistar, and moonshineshadow.
- These giveaways have been extremely popular due to their being contributed to by the entire community, central "hub" giveaways of sorts.
- All Community Giveaways are currently defunct except for an offshoot, "The Community Giveaway - Steam Edition" hosted by user zeogold.
- User zeogold is currently collecting GOG keys with plans to re-open the Community Giveaway.
- Giveaways by other users are commonly announced here.
While the community giveaways are deservedly popular and those who put in the administrative effort to make them possible should be applauded, giveaway culture on GOG is much broader and more diversified than these big ongoing events alone. All giveaway hosts, offering occasions that are sometimes celebratory, informative, about forum games, riddles, creative challenges, are contributing to engage users in order to possibly bring the community together.

If we want to accurately and fairly portray giveaway culture in this official FAQ, my suggestion would be to call the section just that, indeed perhaps giveaway culture, and talk about the subject with a wider, equal focus.

zeogold: How can I trade on GOG?
There are three more points on trades that could catch a new member by surprise:

1) Credit Card/Paypal Gift Limit: Gifting with Credit Card/Paypal is disabled on new accounts. The restriction will be lifted 3 months after you make purchases worth $10 / €9.19 / £6.69 / A$13.99 / 719.00 RUB / 55 DKK / 70 NOK / 65 SEK / 30 PLN / C$10 / 10 CHF / R$32 in total.
2) Gifting restriction/day. You may not purchase the same game as a gift more than 1/day.
3) You may not make more than 5 gifts/day (to be honest, I'm not sure if this restriction is still valid).
Update
Added:
Why won't my post show up?
Why won't my review show up?
How do I edit my review?
How do I get a Steam key for my game?
What is GOG?/What does "GOG" stand for?
Created Forum Issues and Store Issues categories under Common Problems

Edited:
Changed amount of rep in Why can't I post links? from 10 to 7
Removed "in Canada" from What is "regional pricing"?
Changed explanation in What is rep? to be clearer.

Things I need assistance on:
- Do you guys think that more detailed explanation on rep is needed? i.e. how much you can lose/gain per day, etc.
- Should the scandal about rep be explained? I feel it's important, but may be a little overly-negative.
- I saw Starmaker mention something about release stats. Unfortunately, this is a subject I know next to nothing on, and will need guidance on what to put.
- I might need somebody to just straight-up actually write the sections on scripts for me, because I never use them and know nothing about them. I'll try (when I get back to it) to cover a brief summary, but I fear I might offer a gimped explanation.
Hey zeogold, don't want to intrude on the mighty fine job you are doing here, but in my opinion, the "Why won't my post show up?", "Why can't I post links?" and some other info regarding posting on the forum (For example, there are game specific forums for each title. Some sections are more active than others. For the less active game forums, if one requires any help, you can post in the general main, where traffic is higher), should be swapped and placed in the first slot right at the top, instead of the FAQ codes of conduct.

The reason is, new members quickly looking to ask questions, would most likely be doing a fast scan in order to efficiently get the answers they want. Thus, this will help them. Other members looking to settle into the community, shall usually take the time to read and get acquainted with things, so some other items needn't be on a rush order. You can say, this is much better prioritization for different sets of users.

zeogold: Why won't my post show up?
A workaround for seeing your post is also to change the number of posts per page to one that will be showing your post.
Update
Added:
Put a new section at the top for those people who don't want to be bothered with the FAQ and just need the vital points for posting

Changed:
What is the Community Giveaway? has been changed to How do giveaways Work/What is the "giveaway culture" on the GOG forum? and I've added a broader scope of information

Meant to add more, but it's mad late at the moment.
