cristigale: There's a benefit to knowing most likely confirmed town for a day, but I think it's better to keep the CL guessing.

agentcarr16: Guessing what? CL knows perfectly well that Bookwyrm didn't hit a cultist. And CL is the only one who knows if Bookwyrm hit CL. (Unless Cult has Daychat, I suppose.)

So it's better to keep CL guessing as to who Bookwyrm knows is Town?
Yes. I can answer this but I encourage you to think through what Bookwyrm asked you in the post mentioned below. I think it gets to the heart (in a roundabout way) of why I think it's better for Bookwyrm to keep the CL guessing.

Bookwyrm627: Agent, humor me for a moment and please tell the class how "Follow the Cop" works.

flubbucket: @cristigale, you have two very good points here.

(and I mean that in the most lecherous and "go see Human Resources" way possible.)
Nudge, nudge. Wink, wink. Say no more. ;-)

cristigale: @Bookywrym - is that correct?
Sadly, the mod has been pretty closed mouth about the results of my night action.
@wyrm:

do you expect to live through tonight?

The answer seems obvious to me. Why do you ask?

Lifthrasil: Special Rules:

- To offset the Cult Leader's ability, there will be a Deprogrammer variant: the Deprogrammer can target one person at night. If that person is Cult, their brain programming will be deleted – along with the brain. I.e. that person dies. If that person is Town, nothing happens. The Deprogrammer doesn't get a nightly feedback on the success or failure of his power. He just has to see and interpret the results in the morning.

- The Deprogrammer and the Cult Leader are nemesises: the Cult Leader can't recruit the Deprogrammer (the attempt will fail) and the Deprogrammer can't kill the Cult Leader. However, if the Deprogrammer targets the Cult Leader, he will lose his recruiting ability (the Deprogrammer won't be informed of this). If both target the same player at night, they will cancel each other out and both get failure messages.
@mods - in regards to the Deprogrammer, the two emphasized portions above seem to contradict each other. Can you elaborate on this? Is the second emphasized portion an exception to the first emphasized portion?

To know your answer and to see how you answered. Which I'd still like to have an answer.

I expect that my life expectancy is up to the CL, though I'd be surprised if I died tonight.

Of course it is, and thank you. So, why would you be surprised?

I'd think the answer would be obvious. N2 just feels too early for the CL to go after me.

Yes. That's the one exception (for symmetry reasons - I am a physicist, which means I like symmetry).
My top two picks for CL are currently JMich and agent.

JMich, as already mentioned, has been quiet (since late D1). In the past, when he started to get pressure as scum, JMich went under-the-radar. This feels familiar. I was thinking this last night (real time), haven't really seen anything since then but a check in.

I live in Dallas so that can be a complicated answer.............(too soon??)

On the other hand, I understand the premise here.

@Bookwyrm - I think I see it, but I don't agree.

@Flubbucket - Maybe you should try not posting one minute after me! :-P

@Drealmer7 - I don't remember it working quite like that...
