Ixamyakxim: Unvote Drealmer

Vote Dessimu

I'd rather not have a split vote no lynch with the deadline tomorrow, and he's one of my preferred lynch candidates anyway. I do think we should keep an eye on Drealmer though.

And just in case we hit lynch / deadline before I'm around again Bookwyrm I'll reiterate I wouldn't mind seeing your target in advance.
Why me? I am getting itchy finger from all those votes.

RWarehall: If the Tracker really feels Bookwyrm is the Cult Leader, then he should track him.
this seems like a logic slip that only a cultist would make to me, but I do realize a townie could make it too...

again, I don't want to talk about it though, which sucks, I know, but, doing so is just helpful to cult, imo...

Why not? That isn't a logic slip. I'm saying each individual has to use his best judgments. But those best judgments have to be focused on discovering the Cult Leader not wasted confirming those one already thinks is town. If I'm the Tracker or someone else is the Tracker and reads Bookwyrm's posts and finds things that makes him suspect, why shouldn't the Tracker track him or the Vig shoot him?

Now, I've pretty much said I believe Bookwyrm is town and if I'm the Tracker or the Vig, it's a moot point. I won't be using my power on Bookwyrm. But others may read it differently. If they do, whatever abilities they may have, they need to follow their gut and take the best shot at the Cult Leader they can.

drealmer7: *sigh*
I understand what you're saying, and it does make sense. But on the other spectrum, I believe you said that it's better to talk about everything and anything (instead of lurking), and that you wanted to know who people want to vote for so we can see if they change. You're very eager to know who people want to vote for (and if a name is said, reasons also are expected). It seems like two very different viewpoints to me. (If I am off base, apologies and all that. My play-paranoia for this game is clashing with my need to never upset people. XD *hugs*)

And if people who are voting you, had power to lynch you on the spot, honestly thinking you are the Cult Leader... Should they follow their gut?

Fantasysci5: snip
Drealmer flip-flops a lot. We are used to it.

Of course. You'd be wrong, this time...
I pride myself in playing town no matter what my actual faction, so if I were the Cult Leader, I would hope I'd play exactly as I am, although honestly, given how many people clearly didn't get this set-up, I probably would have held back on the detailed plan for winning this sort of game and let town slip up a bit.

I detailed what I feel is the best path to victory. If you are the Vig, really suspect me most, and want to use it on me tonight, since I advocate using it early (1st two nights) to help catch the CL sooner than later, you should do it. But when you do (and I flip Town), I implore you read through my plan and give it the consideration it deserves. Because I can still win the game if I'm dead, but I don't think it will happen if people no-lynch or waste their abilities just to confirm townies.

Fantasysci5: Oh, and I forget who asked, but I am a girl for reference purposes.
Should've gone with this.
avatar
RWarehall: But it would be really funny to watch when his target flips cult and you lynch Bookwyrm and he flips town.
Wait, what? Under what circumstances can this happen?

Vote RWarehall. You are still at the fear mongering. A town Bookwyrm cannot visit someone on N1 and have them flip cult on D2. At least not according to this game's setup.
avatar
Bookwyrm627: Do you see the problem wth this plan? Like how it doesn't actually verify me?
avatar
JMich: I actually don't, thus why I'm discussing it. Please enlighten me.
If I'm the Deprogrammer:
I target Leonard, who is not a cultist.
-Lynch Leonard, flips town.

I target Leonard, who is CL.
-Lynch Leonard, flips cultist.

Possible flips for Leonard while I'm DP: town and cultist.

If I'm the CL:
-I target Leonard AND DP targets Leonard; Leonard is not a cultist.
-Lynch Leonard, flips town.

-I target Leonard AND DP targets someone else.
-Lynch Leonard, flips cultist.

Possible flips for Leonard while I'm CL: town and cultist.

This doesn't even get into what could happen if the tracker is converted N1.

-----

BTW: My compliments to the mods on the information hiding. Neither side can be quite sure their primary opposing role has been eliminated by any given flip, barring some unusual circumstances. Including a vig in the setup was one of several strokes of brilliance.

Fantasysci5: and he wouldn't want the tracker to waste time on him when they are supposed to collectively find the cult members.
If only there was some way for me to tell the tracker who to not bother tracking...

Also, attached image. Because what is the cult going to do? Kill me?

I'll think about it. Broadcasting my choice seems more likely to cause than solve problems.

Bookwyrm627: If I'm the CL:

Actually, this is the possible case if you are the CL. The DP will target you. Hell, if you are lying about being the DP, then you are most likely the DP's target either way.

So, if you are lying, you either die during N1, or are rendered useless. Whether the CL can convert on the night he's deprogrammed is not something I know.

Check Post 295, just above, for such a scenario.

JMich: Whether the CL can convert on the night he's deprogrammed is not something I know.
I'm going to assume the conversion still occurs. There is no indication that my role has any Roleblocker functionality.

Bookwyrm627: Check Post 295, just above, for such a scenario.
Check his post. He is assuming such a bad plan won't be able to hit the CL. But yes, it is a small possibility.

And EBWOP: If you are lying and are the CL, you are rendered useless on N1 and killed on N2, since the real deprogrammer would know you're lying, thus cult, and he would target you twice.
10 mins passed, more EBWOP.
If you are town and your N1 target flips cult on D2, that means when you flip town we'll know you managed to hit the CL on N1. So we would be looking at a max of 2 cult members. Again, a big information win for town.
We pointed out how terrible your plan is and you are voting me for it?

And as you just pointed out. Tracker doesn't have to follow him at all to confirm him. We don't have to lynch his target at all to confirm him. If he isn't the Deprogrammer, he gets targeted N1 by the Deprogrammer and he is inert or splodes. And if he is still alive the next day, the Deprogrammer can claim so we can kill off the cult leader for good with the lynch and the Deprogrammer will be safe. Then we can no-lynch the rest of the game while the Deprogrammer targets each player one by one until everyone is checked or we win.

So why do you want to spread so much misinformation; convince two power roles to waste their abilities while you go around falsely calling other people's logic flawed?

I add JMich to the list I would be willing to vote for...
