Crosmando: That "trailer" looks so cheap, if I didn't know it was official I'd say it was fan-made
+1. This trailer looks like made on Oblivion's old (Gamebryo) engine. And that scene with dog reminiscent on its previous owners just pointless.

fr33kSh0w2012: Hopefully this time the game won't be as bug riddled and Fucked as the last two were!
Last 4 perhaps? the original two games were pretty bad in terms of bugs.

The list of bugs in Fallout 2 really put Bethesda to shame lol. Even more impressive is how much of them has been fixed over time.

The shot of the town at the end looked just awful, not to mention the upbeat music which sounds absolutely nothing like the dark Fallout feel.

Obsidian are quite lazy in that respect. They've always left endless bugs in their games. At least Bethesda fix theirs (for the most part).

Down repped for this? People are sensitive!

haha not by my experience. But gaming these days, I wouldn't be surprised. It seems to be a constant with any company these days.

Very very veeeery sensitive!

Yep!

Elmofongo: Also I just prefer the kind of gameplay where you explore dangerous territory at level 1. Like you find a dungeon with say a high level dragon enemy and you know you cannot face him yet and coming back ready just makes the encounter
satisfying.

cw8: The Witcher 3. On Death March.

OneFiercePuppy: But if Fallout 3 hadn't sold well, Bethesda wouldn't have gone ahead with funding the outsourced development of New Vegas. Obsidian has said they'd love to work on Fallout again; if Fallout 4 doesn't sell well, Bethesda won't have incentive to repeat their offer.

I hope Fallout 4 sells well, and I hope Obsidian gets another go at the IP, because I bet I'd prefer their version. Again.

cw8: They said they would love to work on Fallout again. But iirc, they also said they preferably would not wanna work with bethesda again for good reason. Or maybe I just read that from a forum that someone made up?
What do you mean On Death March?

The highest difficulty setting. :)

I never did buy the line that Bethsoft rewrote their engine from the ground up. Skyrim's "Creation Engine" has the exact coding bugs that Morrowind does in relation to loading transitions. Those lazy buggers have been reusing the same dodgy code for over a decade.
