April Fools was a few weeks ago, fix your title.

Minuteworld: do not remove the neptunia games. if you do, that is anti consumer. I just bought the first one and plan on buying the others. I know they don't get updates which is why you should demand idea factory to update their game on your platform instead of removing it outright. I don't care about other games that get no updates gettingt removed but if you remove the neptunia games, I'll just go fuck gog and deal with steam and scene groups.

I have 118 games on this site. removing shit people wanna buy regardless if its up to date is anti consumer.
I think with those the only problems are the gog versions not having bonus soundtracks and such. When it comes to that I agree they shouldn't be removed, but games being sold here that are missing bug fixes is something that's getting ridiculous.

I don't think the Neptunia games will go away. But why not buy them all now? They're all 50% and (IMO) not very expensive. Note that they will stay in your library even if they were ever removed from the store. To be really sure you can just download and backup the offline installers.DRM-free ftw!

Also, I hate to disappoint you - 118 is not really much. I have about 750 and learned only recently (when all the profiles were public... shame on you GOG), that there are many people with more than the double amount...
cause im out of money dude. the sale made sure of that.

Should be solved now.
Admit it! The real reason the game was removed was because you wanted to use that thread title!

I think you nailed them...
GOOD JOB. If sellers won't support what they sell here than stop rewarding that behavior by continuing to give them profit.

Now do this for ALL listings that don't get support.

mechmouse: Developers shouldn't have this much problems keeping the two releases synchronised, there is something serious wrong somewhere!
It's fortunate for GOG that the entire industry is a joke.

Linko90: Everything (2017) has, unfortunately, departed from our catalog. Despite efforts to ensure the GOG version remained up to date with other platforms, both GOG and Double Fine Presents have agreed to delist the game.

For those who currently own Everything, don’t worry, you still (and always will) have access to it.

If you wish to seek a refund for your purchase, please contact support.gog.com.
If you're writing or speaking in a foreign language talk or write more as a rule of thumb. All the little nuances get lost in translation. ;)

contra_cultura: Thanks for the heads up Linko90. Would you mind elaborating on the reason why the game was delisted? "Everything" was a game I was looking forward to buying someday, and if this is because the devs didn't want to update their game here (as it has been mentioned on some replies) then it's a reason not to do so anymore. Thanks!

Linko90: As mentioned in the original post, it's simply a case of the version not being able to keep up with updates. Both parties came to the mutual agreement to delist the game and offer refunds.

Not the most dramatic story I know!
Right, but *why* was the dev not updating the GOG version?

Alexim: I think the next to be delisted will be one or more among these:
Perception
Necropolis
Offworld Trading Company
Punch Club
Homeworld: Deserts of Kharak
SteamWorld Heist
Bard's Tale, The

They have some serious game breaking bug or missing the multiplayer component when the original game is strongly focused on it.
I'd love to see Everything from Hairbrained Schemes Studios delisted here because of Necropolis.Seriously I lost all trust in them and will never give them another dime. I hope Paradox disbands the studio since with Paradox, those updates to Necropolis will be sold as DLC, but only in complete versions of the game with no option to upgrade to it from the base version. They could both rot as far as I'm concerned.

SCPM: At first I thought it was some kind of odd attempt at a joke by the new blue, forgot that there was a game called Everything. Even more deflating though, is that this game wasn't even listed in the Second-Class games thread. I'm glad that GOG is reaching out to devs regarding out-of-date games, but how much more stuff is gonna get pulled like this? =\ I'd hate for a great title like Dragon's Dogma to get pulled because of some missing updates. And at least this time there was warning before the title got pulled.
I agree. I was hoping for a deep discount on the game before it left. Now I have to keep a closer eye on Necropolis because that's on my wishlist. Might even half to bite the bullet on that one before it disappears.
Wow! I also fell for that title & main post, and for a moment, my heart skipped a beat... (◉_◉)
Can a dev explain to people why it is so hard or time consuming to keep both Steam and Gog versions up to date?.
