pkk234: I'm(Cornholio) missing from the game.
Have I already lost my Goblin mind and joined the horde of enemies crawling up the grate?
Don't worry. You're not.

You are listed here (https://www.gog.com/forum/general/enter_my_dungeon_if_you_dare_giveaway_game/post360) as:
"In Chamber:
...
33 - pkk234 - Cornholio - Golbin Berserker "

You should probably post your actions, though, assuming you don't want to remain in the chamber, patiently waiting to see what's coming out of the grate.

FWIW, here is how our party has self-disclosed:

Avatar CharName Race Class Weapon

MaxFulvus Max son Dwarf Thief Paranoia
ciemnogrodzianin Thulgrun Dwarf Warrior War hammer
bler Smarty Human Paladin 1h-hammer/shield
Babark Babargh Dwarf Cleric Magic axe
aRealCyborg Kyp Dwarf Ranger Bow/sword/beard
idbeholdME Svartalf Dwarf B'mage War hammer

With 3 hammers we should be strong against all nail-, peg- or drum-based foes to come.

As an action, I'm going to raise said hammer and shield, one in each hand which is really the most efficient, ready for proceeding into the cave.

If scouting ahead is viable in this game setup, Max can retreat behind me when monsters are spotted. There's nothing in my pockets anyway. ;)

EBWOP: I meant ready for proceeding into the South main tunnel.

Question: What is the visible sex/gender of your characters? The names sound male, but unclear. [Yes, there is an RP reason for this question.]
Rizzleskiff walks alone up the small Northern tunnel. There are other adventurers ahead, perhaps also some behind. She is curious. What lies ahead?
[68 - Peloquin - Dwarven Thief]

"Kiss my bearded dwarven arse!" It was a bit of a rough landing, falling from that chain, but nothing a sturdy gnome can't handle. The true pain came not from my fall, but from having mistrusted those wooden chests: they bore no traps, but treasures. True treasures! My thieving heart's a grieving.

So what have we summoned, ...we, the Four Yankers of Chains? Will they sing songs about us one day? Four tunnels, four explosions, but not a single cave-in. Did pulling the chains open up something at the end of those tunnels? Perhaps we unblocked them? But at what cost? That gushing water sound, where's it coming from? The tunnels? The grate? And that piratey voice... faint and in the distance... in which direction was his voice? My skull must be choking on tunnel dust, cause the pirate's greeting almost sounded familiar and friendly!

Up on my feet again, I gather my senses and hide in the shadow cast by the northwest pillar. I wait and I observe, one eye in the grate's direction, the other shifting between the northern and western tunnel entrances. Occassionally, I study the pillar itself, for markings or trap triggers. I swap my shortbow for my light hammer and I lean stealthily against the dark side of the northwest pillar.
Fish the Half-Orc Berserker. Western Tunnel

Fish smacks Roy's head for casting a web spell on the other adventurers. The half-orc berserker reminds his fellow orc to save it for later. Whether it's for the enemies or the adventurers, it is not yet clear.

Fish asks the other adventurers in the western tunnel for a plan. Go blind or send someone further into the tunnel.

There was a pirate ship trapped in an underground cove, Goonies-style, but pulling the chain freed it before it could be boarded and the pirates properly smited.

Though perhaps they were friendly do-gooding pirates.

BenKii: Guys, I think it would be a good idea if we get going down the west tunnel. I suggest Shins lead since he can spot the traps for us. Me, Siegfried, and Roosevelt will follow to backup our thief friend. While Loradan, Tanea, and Rufus should stay protected behind us so they can cast their spells free of danger.
This is a wonderful idea.
*Roosevelt eases his shield and hunkers behind it as he marches forward in line. As the webs shoot out of the tunnel, Roosevelt jumps, startled*
"Spiders? Or foul witches?! Either way, we shall triumph! Rally, to me! And no lollygagging in the back!! Oh, Gods of the Deep, protect us from Evil!"
*He then spots Roy Jenks*
"Ah, merely an innovative spirit trying to be proactive. I can respect that. But let's save it for the foul enemies that are doubtless going to await us further down the tunnel, Shall we??

Krssl Kssk - Drow Necromancer - East Tunnels

This Drow is totally overwhelmed by the sheer number of other adventurers and so sits down and has a think.

"What's the best way to get out of this alive? Probably to stay with the biggest group. I mean, if someone doesn't make it the first time, I can always give them a second chance... Hah!"

Krssl stands up and starts to follow the largest group of adventurers, whistling as he walks.

I thought the tunnels were next to each other, so you could pick once you approached them?

Doc wrote that I was "[Ereanor] quickly rushes for the South tunnel" after pulling the chain, so I thought I could theoretically decide to steer into the smaller one in case it turned out the main path had been blocked. Which it wasn't, fortunately.

If I had been given a choice of what to do after we heard the sounds, I'd probably stay and try to get one health potion and then leave the room with the other pullers, if Doc didn't write that I was rushing for the tunnel, since in my turn choices I said I'd evade the web, check the south entrance for any potential signs that it could blocked if we pulled the chains, and then I'd pull the chain if I didn't find any (and thus remain at the chain). If I could still do that within one turn, if not, I'd just trap check the entrance.
And if I did find something (that would block the path), I'd go inside the tunnel instead of pulling the chain. So Doc seems to have combined it, I pulled the chain (which I really wanted to do, thanks! :)), and now I'm running into the tunnel right after that.

I'll decide in the afternoon what to do next, since Doc first has to say how far have you gone ahead, so it might be better for me to just wait up for the other folks in the room, in case you're all too far ahead.

Lifthrasil: Sure. Let's.
In case the other people have gone too far ahead, I'd be happy to join you as well, as I had planned at staying at the chain if I did pull it, but Doc wrote that I was leaving.

By the way, humans, elves and halfings get a penalty for being in the vicinity with Drow, so it might be more advantageous if the drows go together, they also get a bonus when they're close to orcs, and there is already and orc and a drow in the chamber as well.

[Raybur - Male Dwarven Cleric] Location: along the eastern tunnel.

The eastern tunnel is dumpy and dark, his fire imbued morning star casts strange shadows on the walls, besides him the two elves:
avatar
BeatriceElysia: Lady Beatrice - Elf Druid
avatar
Cavalary: Calad - Elf mage
are bitchering among themselves on who should join who and the needing of strong arms, meanwhile a group of three half-orcs:
avatar
PaterAlf: Peter Alf - Half Orc warrior
avatar
cardangrille: Cardan - Half Orc Berserker
avatar
Maxvorstadt: Balbok - Half-Orc Shaman
can be seen advancing into the tunnel ... Moradin be damned if Raybur will ever have any business with them, still ... desperate times requires desperate solutions, interrupting the elfs he asks: "What about them?" (pointing to the orcs)
Still waiting for an answer, all of a sudden a distinct noise can be heard coming from the main chamber... something in the dungeon has changed ... fearing to be catched unprepared Raybur immediatly cast a "Find Traps" spell.

*Raybur can see others figures advancing in the tunnels as well but he cannot seems to focus them properly*

Is the Guardian already summoned, because we should summon it in front only during a fight to avoid to let it vanish before being able to use it ? I carry a Battleaxe with magical properties with +1 damage, a shield and throwing axes, but only a studded leather armour. For those who have offensive spells, try to avoid those in front of you. I don't want to be hit in the back by a fireball !
Sorry sbout my lack of really doing anything, been busy. At the very least i'd like to get away from the hirde grate. I'll have to catch up on what's happened after i get home. Maybe i'll just climb the chains and then try and go berserk to kill some off for everyone else.

..and another paladin started praising an half-orc who just cast a Web spell on other folks.. "This is madness! Can I really trust these people?", Loradan thought. And why was the human shouting at such creature - still meddling with the chests in the circular room - while we were deep in the tunnel?
