idbeholdME: I see several duplicates or these persons have an evil clone of themselves :O. Namely:

Squee - North and South Tunnel
Raybur Wolfsktaa - North and East Tunnel
Svartalf - South and West Tunnel
Gilius - South and West Tunnel
Zazz - East and West Tunnel
Misery - East and West Tunnel

Will wait for this to be sorted out before doing anything as I am one of the cloned ones :P

So what I, Tridris (female Drow, Necromancer), am doing here, guess my little sister finally got me, I knew her thirst for power someday cause me a problem but it came sooner than I expected... Well, never mind *looking around*, what's with all this things around me, they seems as confused as I'm... well... some of them may be useful. Seems that some alliances already forming, maybe I should join one of them?

Trying to not sound too arrogant I'm saying to people around me: Well "friends", seems like we got here a little trouble for ourselves, I don't think anyone for us can survive on its own, as much as I hate it, we have better chance of surviving if we join our forces. What do you think?

What counts as close proximity? The same room/tunnel/hall? Does that stack? = 2 Drows = minus 4?

I am of royal blood. I expect all in proximity to the West Tunnel to protect me as I venture in, steadfast and proud. All those except Drow, naturally. Drow, begone! The West Tunnel is claimed by Origi, halfling battlemage queen.

A little "Detect Secrets" on the West Tunnel will also do me good...

FlockeSchnee: Am I allowed to join? I know only defensive spells and one other (if I live long enough for it to present itself ;-) Probably a ton of traps down here and I lack the ability to uncover those), that isn't offensive in itself.

Edit: A lot of text, means a lot of spelling errors. Hope I got them all now.
If you are willing to reach the west tunnel I say welcome too!

A good suggestion by Tridris.
It may be an idea that whenever you post you also mention your character name/ race and class.
This would make it easier for people to know who is who.

As I make my way over to the West Tunnel, carefully avoiding the chains, which suddenly become visible, one at each column, the Human Warrior gives a little smile in my direction, maybe involuntarily. The Elf, who is also heading towards the Human Paladin seems to look me over, not unfriendly, more curious perhaps? They don't seem to mind my approach. I look to the Paladin. He doesn't mind either. I'm relieved.
Then I see the female Hafling. Her demeanor is that of one used to get their way. She glares at the Drows near the West Tunnel, near her. Maybe she can make them go away? I don't want to die. Not here. Not away from home. Leaving home is starting to look like a grave mistake. Will I be?

OK, thanks. So no stacking, right?

I have another question. I just moved from near the metal grate to near the West Tunnel to join the forming group there. Does that mean, I can't move with those already at the West Tunnel into the tunnel, that I will always be one step behind? Or how does moving work?
