Cavalary: To access your Yasur, your save game must first be converted to an online save game. Playing online "Ventures" requires you to opt in to the "Multiverse Team Seasons" public beta, which will launch at a later date. You will also need to register an Egosoft account, connect your game to your Egosoft account in your User Control Panel and log in in-game using this account.

Gersen: For information the "Multiverse Team Seasons" are a seasonal multiplayer mode, registering gives you this ship at the from the start of the "season". But it doesn't mean that this ship is multiplayer exclusive or that you cannot obtain it normally in single player.

Technically I would say that unless something has drastically changes recently, the only online reward you have are the custom paint jobs (which you can find without registering on Nexus Mod) like for the base game.
More DRM from Ego on a DRM free store.

This is just an alert of a potential issue -

There's a bug in Neverwinter Nights Enhanced Edition that specifically impacts the premium module Wyvern Crown of Cormyr where the game hangs up in the jousting mini game, resulting in the module as a whole being something that you cannot finish.

This bug is fixed in build version 86.8193.35, which is apparently in beta right now. For GOG users, this also means that it's only available through Galaxy. If you're using the offline installers, you only have access to build version 86.8193.34.1(a), which has the above mentioned bug.

The person that I spoke to in the NW Vault discord expects that the patch will become fully available in another week or two.

We're talking about my absolute favorite of the premium modules, so I'll be keeping on top of this one. If it doesn't show up as an offline download within a week of 86.8193.35 going out of beta, then I'll consider it a DRMed patch.

A new online multiplayer mode and the only thing impacting single player is the same sort of paint jobs non-sense that were already present in the original version released nearly five years ago, so nothing new.

Thank you for the updates and explanations. I consider that X4 still has the same cosmetic DRM plus some added, DRM-ed rewards, like Cyberpunk and The Witcher 3. Sad. But what do you expect with the example that GOG/CDPR are setting?

Yes, let's watch and wait until it is out of beta and judge then. I expect that they will release the patch for the offline installers too.

I thought you'd want the info anyway just in case someone posts in the thread that the game 100% has a DRMed patch.

Yes, you thought correctly. I like to be informed about such developments! Thank you!
DRM does everything in a game... except protect from copyright infringement and all that bullshit.

I had hoped for an addition to Lifthrasil's thread marking Egosofts latest releases as at the very least, continued use of DRM on a so called DRM free platform.

You have quite rightly reminded me that gog has been allowing Egosoft to release DRM on gog for approx 5 years now.

I personally have been boycotting all and every Egosoft product since late 2011, when Egosoft chose to adopt steam DRM exclusivity.

I will continue to do so and have finally decided that gog cannot in any way, shape or form continue to be considered a DRM free platform.

I wish Lifthrasil the best of luck in maintaining this thread.

You do what you want, but you do realize that, even long before releasing their games on Gog, Egosoft was very consistent at providing on their site a DRM-free EXE for the Steam version of their games a couple of months after release, so in the category of Devs to boycott for their love of DRMs Egosoft was definitely not a very good choice...

Egosoft released the "No Steam" exe after a massive backlash from the community and don't you forget it.

After late 2011, registration with Steam was mandatory. The "No Steam exe" could then be accessed after further registration with Egosoft.

Do you see a pattern emerging?

Since I know them, Egosoft forum and downloads, always needed an egosoft registration account. Basically because they had also a shop for their products in boxed and digital versions at least since 2011

Lucky for us it can still considered to be an ALMOST DRM-free platform. Might not be perfect but it is good enough for me to continue to buy here.

Thank you for your reply MarkoH01. As far as I am concerned you are a heavy hitter on these boards.

I would like to state that I appreciate your reply and would once again like to thank Lifthrasil for maintaining this list, it is of huge benefit.

It is my hope that this list can continue to be maintained.

I personally am no longer interested in gog as a DRM free platform.

Well, it isn't for me. But exactly for that purpose this list is here. To provide information that GOG doesn't provide. So that everyone can make an informed decision whether to buy or not. Both for the individual games and for GOG as a whole.

So I take it that you don't buy anymore on GOG? In that case thank you even more that you still take your time to keep this list updated for those who still do.
