You two are probably right, I just decided to grab GOTG, but I'm still finding it hard to justify 30 bucks for Batman though, especially with so many reviews pointing out an alarming amount of bugs.
Phew! Luckily I got Back to the Future when it was on special in May 2016 for A$4.99 (also the Sam & Max Series).

Tales of Monkey Island was on special for A$3.49 back in July 2014.

It pays to get in early as soon as good games go on sale. Studios are being bought & sold like 2nd hand books this past decade (looking at you EA), or just closing for some reason.

I do feel sorry for those that missed out. Hopefully they'll be available again one day. I've missed a few other's I didn't grab before vanishing. *shrug* Way it goes!
I'd actually be willing to trade my physical copy of BttF for a GOG key :/ go figure
Tales of Monkey Island is back in the store and with 50% discount.

It's great to have the game back! Still, I find it strange that it has been spotted in the store since yesterday by multiple users, but GOG hasn't made an announcement yet (did I miss something?).

Wait, I mean:

Too bad they're all fabricated.

No, that's not it... Yikes! I surrender!

We'll surely avoid scurvy if we all eat an orange...

I think Tales of Monkey Island and Back to the Future are probably amongst the best games Telltale ever made.

They have the excellent writing that is the hallmark of games made by Telltale but also from the era where they still made them as LucasArts-style adventure games instead of the god-knows-what crap that they started churning out later.

I'd also say the Sam and Max games they made were pretty good, but the earlier ones are much better and the quality of gameplay declines as they progress.

I've always said Telltale were incredible story writers but made terrible games - Borderlands was the last game of theirs I bought - I wanted to love that game - The writing was clever, characters full of personality and everything was nuanced and full of wit, but the gameplay was just crap, virtually non-existent and had my most hated game mechanic - QTEs - all over the place, even the conversation options! Like you had to interrupt the excellent voice acting to pick a conversation choice or lose the opportunity to do so!

If only they could combine their skill at writing with a team capable of making compelling gameplay mechanics too!

Cyker: QTEs ...
QTE wouldn't have been so bad if they actually worked ... They hardly ever did. The only exceptions were Kings Quest and Tales from the Borderlands.

The Walking Dead? One of their titles I would have loved to play? Forget it, the Q key didn't work.

Though not a Telltale game Blacksad is another QTE heavy game totally failing to recognize the key-press event. I couldn't get past the first event which was 2 minutes into the game. Since I couldn't map the action to a different key or mouse-button I asked and got a refund. Sloppy port best played with controller is something I don't support. If they are too lazy or incapable of going the extra mile to optimize input for PC which is keyboard and mouse they can keep it.

That said I would love to see a return of Tales from the Borderlands which has been delisted and Kings Quest which I don't know whether it was ever sold here. Afair. I got it on Steam because they never released it here.
