The Witcher 3 was a 'surprise' hit to the main (USA based) AAA games industry. Here was a Polish upstart producing a game of such (for the time) visual quality but also including deep and complex gameplay and SO MUCH CONTENT, you could take years to get through it all.
That is not allowed to happen again (how else can the execs at EA buy a new ferrari each year?), so the whole 'SJW' online concern campaign was focused on Cyberpunk to mess thnigs up a bit and divide the fan base that The Witcher 3 had gathered to it (rightly so!) around the world.
