okay, THIS is shocking.

Played almost 150 hours of the Steam release earlier in the year, so not gonna rush to grab this (unless the launch discount is good); But anyone who waited, should play it.

Mechanically, it's quite similar to Witcher 3, in that the game's core loop is learnign more about various enemy (machine) types and figuring out their weaknesses, and tailoring your builds to dealing with specific machine combos.

World-building and the backstory are quite nice; characterization and overall plot not so much.
Still, this IS impressive.

Guess I'm gonna hold off buying Death Stranding on Steam for now. Please get on that next, CDP!

A release like this on GOG is seriously fucking incredible, best thing to happen since the release of Control.

Sony's current head honcho supposedly is one of those ignorant "Who would want to play this old shit nowadays, LOL" type of guys, but you never now...
Especially if this Horizon game here does reasonably well on GoG, and they could use that as another argument for convincing Sony to re-release Psygnosis classics DRM-free on GoG as well.

Not much else we can do than to go down that big old list and keep voting.

This is an amazing, beautiful game. I hope many GOGer's get to have fun with it. :)
