If I am not mistaken Rockstar Games owns Max Payne IP. So people please stop associating CONTROL with Max Payne just because Remedy developed some of Max Payne titles. Rockstar has the final say where it lands and as everyone can see Rockstar has zero titles published here. I'm sorry for being blunt but this is the sad truth.

teceem: Great news! The first game that's worth upgrading my GTX970 for!
Next generation graphics cards are arriving very soon. Nvidia next week, no clue which models will be available and when. AMD "this year" but I do not know exactly when.

This game looks interesting to me too.

Most likely: RTX 3070 and RTX 3060 -> October and November respectively.
3080 and higher is above my budget. I'm still not sure if I'll go for the RTX 3070 or just wait for the second hand price of the RTX 2070 Super to drop below 300 €. And I'm certainly not buying the new generation until I've read the reviews.

I remember one "review" of the current generation of Nvidia GPUs that was: "Just buy it!"

My mistake. Replace Max Payne with Death Stranding then. Both Control and Death Stranding are published by 505 Games so MAYBE this could be another big release coming in the future.

Are you sure that it wasn't a billboard in They Live? ;-)

Cool. The more AAA games get released on GOG, the better. If game developers respect us gamers/customers enough to release DRM free game, I'm gonna respect them as well and buy it.
Hey, I believed you. I just found it such an unprofessional review advice that it warranted a joke.
Will it run ok with a GTX1050, 2GB RAM? Core i5 3330 CPU?

They're both a few years old, I know ...
Definitely didn't see this coming, at least not so soon. Awesome!

Nobody knows what YOU consider "ok".
Me, I don't like playing games on anything lower than "High" graphics settings. And I mean "playing", not "buying". I don't replay games anytime soon so when I start one, I want the "full experience".
In the case of Control, I want to play it on high, 1440P, raytracing on, and a stable enough framerate. That sounds "ok" to me.
