On that one, i am against China also. Their tastes in videogames somehow affect the whole !@#$ world. I am eagerly anticipating how gog will react, though. From front page advertizing of "same sex relationship month" without the ability to comment even and promoting such themes at every given opportunity, now will we see "Many gamers asked us to not release such games" again, or something? Hmmm Ha ha ha
When will people just learn to live and let live?
Why the heck should anybody care about somebody else's sexuality (unless we're getting into dark, dark places where there is no consent, of course)?

I'm growing increasingly tired of both factions: on one hand you have reactionaries reaching insane levels of inhumanity, on the other you have activist trying to pin guilt on everybody not adhereing to their "cults".
Both can kindly go to Hell.
China has been fighting against over-population for decades. Trying to enforce the "one child policy" for decades, before having to abandon it, to alleviate the women shortage. But still they try to limit birth numbers.

Sooo, let's see:
- They have a huge excess of men.
- They try to reduce the number of child births significantly.

Looks to me as if they should encourage same-sex relationships instead of banning them. And allow same-sex marriages, especially between men. That would solve both of their problems!
Bright Memory is still sexy. Games from all around the world promote sexy cyborgs with the switchable crotch. I am sure there is a group of people that getting sparks about undressed robots only.

On the one hand, you've got individual people and organisations independently choosing to represent diversity in games, art, TV, etc. And on the other, you have central government enforcing rules to prevent that kind of representation.

And you're saying these two things are equally bad? Is this some kind of weird joke thread?

Totalitarian regimes do not solve problems; they create them!

"the wise man bowed his head solemnly and spoke: "theres actually zero difference between good & bad things."

That tweet is seven years old.

Again, get on with the times. China has been trying to encourage childbirth for quite some time now.

(They also opened a child sterilization and mutilation facility last month. Institutional schizophrenia at its finest.)

That wasn't a same-sex relationship month. I even got warned for it. Actual homosexuality (and heterosexuality for that matter, although sex offenders are more hesitant to openly say this) is now considered hate by all major social media and e-commerce platforms.

One child policy was given up a few years ago, they're now trying to get Chinese women to have more children again.

That's constructive thinking. Thanks.

yes they are equally bad, maybe individual is worse, at least you can change the gov
Well what do people expect from a authoritarian capitalist dictatorship nation like China? Though usually China dictates are less personal and more political and reputational.
Stop being beGOGted.

Yes, of course. Try telling people living in China that they can change their government ...

Give me a break, troll.
Why you're so mad about China?
You had plans to migrate there or something?
