And yes, there are games where dead players can keep talking as so-called tree-stumps. (Don't ask my why they are called stumps and not ghosts). Someone also suggested a role that can talk with the dead somewhere. So the dead can't directly talk in the game thread anymore, but they get a hidden chat with the medium and can communicate through her. Without knowing which alignment the medium has. It's an interesting role, but one that is difficult to balance.

But a different question: what are your thoughts on SirPrimalform?

TLDR I'm happy to lynch: Trent, HSL Pooka, SPF. And I'm willing to lynch: ZFR, Dedoporno, Blotunga. I don't think Fran is a good lynch as player that simply is not playing I think Fran should be substituted. Explanation for the rest:

I made a long post, which didn't post because GOG actually went offline about an hour and a half back. I thought GOG had gone bankrupt. So I think the best way to Scumhunt is 2 fold. Firstly insincere criticism or voting without a good reason. Both of these indicate the player isn't analysing but looking for an excuse. So I have some OMGUS responses but OMGUS with cavet that the criticism to me seems insincere. My other technique is to analyse wagon shifting. If someone jumps on a wagon that's gaining momentum it can look opportunistic. Last game Agent and Bler jumped on my wagon for an insincere criticism. When it was gaining momentum they both jumped onto a wagon with 3 votes taking it to 5 votes. They were both Scum. That's part of the reason I haven't posted this week. But not the only one, I've been a little busy and have preferred to play secrethitler.io in my leisure time. But I did want to see how wagons developed to get info before analying. I am analytical but I can't analyse nothing, which is pretty much all we have in the early days.

In terms of wagons developing the 3 key wagons have been mine (Scene), Fran and Pooka. Dedoporno and HSL are 4th and 5th votes on Fran. Are these opportunistic? Maybe. NowNow mine went to 3 with Pooka and Trent voted after other votes have been removed. So Pookas wagon developed after criticism he , was this sincere and reasonable? I don't know, maybe. From recollection SPF, Lift and ZFR found Pooka suspect. It wasn't likely my wagon would take off at this stage without me posting so I tend to think Pooka wasn't trying to build the wagons momentum in his first few posts in the game.

So currently I'm voting Trent because I question whether his assessment of him voting for me is insincere given he has played 2 games with me when I was a very busy poster playing Scum roles. He knows this, yet thinks I maybe Scum. Is this sincere? I don't know, but it feels off to me. Did Trent jump on my wagon after seeing 3 players already vote for me in this game?

So @HypersomniacLive and ZFR have both accussed me of 'buddying' upto none other than Blotunga. Well this is suprising. Because I actually voted for Blotunga in the form of a shot because I thought Blotunga's analysis of either ZFR or Lift was insincere (I forget which). Where is the buddying HSL and ZFR? Please highlight it. Or are you both casting shade? I haven't actually interracted with any of the other new players. Although I do plan on replying to Korotan when I've finished this post. Other players have and they kindly coached them through game mechanics. Ofcourse Fasc Scum may do this to carry Liberal favour.

SPF I have no read on because he's inactive. His assessment of Pooka seemed reasonable. But he doesn't post much and his AVI is a play on him not giving off any vibes because he doesn't post. This is anti-town and he has to be a lynch target because A) he could be Scum and we wouldn't know because of innactivity B) lack of analysis hurts Town and is SPF even reading the thread to make the best decision if he is Town? I don't know. I think he's my second favourite wagon after Trent.

@Blotunga - I didn't realise this was your first game. I don't quite hold you in the same chategory as players who are completely new as you're a SecretHitler veteran.

@JoeSapphire - can we SUB Fran67 instead of voting him/her out please? It's going to hurt the Liberal cause if we simply lynch players who aren't actually playing

While I understand mods not wanting to do it , sometimes a modkill is inevitable. In cases when the lack of modkill hurts the game more.

Doesn't seem like anything spectacular or game changing has happened since last night's post. If a replacement for Fran isn't forthcoming and for whatever reason Fran doesn't seem to be coming back, I'm honestly not sure about the relative merits of lynch vs modkill. Modkill seems more fair to the town assuming it doesn't trigger night and we get to pick an actual lynch target.

Please stop using terminology from Secret Hitler, we are playing Mafia and there are no fascists or liberals. Also please when you vote use “vote” and not something else like “punch” , “Shoots”, etc.

You have not been invested in this game, you started late and went 3 days between posts after that. When you did post as I said already it was very blasé. That sounds like a mafia player who’s unsure what to say. Coming in close to deadline and appearing to be more active doesn’t change my opinion of you.

Why Hyper? Just because he accused you of buddying? Hyper, in his usual style, wrote some rather useful (and quite wordy) analysis. So what makes him so scummy in your eyes that you aren't only willing but even happy to lynch him?

No I haven't. Is it my normal play, no. Do you know me to be particularly shy when I'm playing the Mafia role? No. So....

I still have 3 posts before today and analysed everything I thought worthwhile at that point in post 102. There wasn't allot to go at that stage and there's more now albeit not allot more.

That was when I thought he was 4th on the Fran wagon, he was earlier so it kind of makes him seem less opportunistic. I think I'd shift him to 'would consider' now. Even though I do think Frans wagon is a convenient vote for the Mafia team. Just sitting on someones wagon for being absent requires Mafia to hide away from overcommiting.

I await Hypers explanation to my 'buddying'. I'd move him to 'would lynch' now. 1 tactic Mafia will use is labelling players as a smear to form an excuse to lynch. I think he did that with his 'buddying' accusation but he could of meant something else so I await his response.

What do you think of Hypers sensitivity to the voting commands? Is writing Shoot Player X instead of Vote Player X really the big deal he makes it out to be?

Yes. Coupled with the fact that he accepts unbolded votes it is a big deal. Imagine someone writing "I'm going to attack X because of his action Y"? Then when others base their actions on this being a vote, you write later that you only meant you verbally attack them?

What's especially bad is retroconning it. If HSL hadn't brought it up, I wouldn't have known Joe changed your vote. What if this put him at L-1 and I accidentally hammer?

Regarding buddying up; I felt your whole post as trying to appear too friendly to everyone. And I really wouldn't consider your "vote" on blotunga as evidence to the contrary.

But what if the player uses his Men-in-Black glasses to prevent memory liss?

I guess you are no Roleplayer. Because IC and OC are common shortcuts their for In Character as when you write as role like me Koro Koro Tank or Out Character when you write as the player behind it. I have not contributet anything until now because I am not sure what to say now or if anything. At the Moment it seems Fran will get lynchod for OC Reasons and there is a big confusion at the rest. But I guess you are right I should make now a clear cut and start arguing at next round when I feel I need to argument for or against something. All I have to say now is, we should just wait the deadline now. So

So OC, did you find the game initially distressing? Because it should be a fun game of wits. We all have roles in the game. So when someone calls you 'scum', they're only accusing you of being on the Mafia Team, it's not a personal attack. Mafia players will make slips and it boils down to whether Town Team can catch out and figure out Mafia Team.

I'm not sure what team you're on but if you're Town remember that Mafia will kill Town players at night so we need to try and find them and kill them during the Day in order to win the game.
