fr33kSh0w2012: Yes the hacking was the biggest drag though!
Oh? I always played as a Decker, because once you get to a certain level you get a LOT more money and a LOT more Karma from those missions. It's expensive, and the worst part is certain ice that deletes programs you have (which if you know what's coming up you can intentionally trigger the alarm and have a level 1 crap item deleted)

Though... if your skills were low, yeah it could take a while to do anything... need to have a high enough skill and deck to do anything beyond the simplest of runs.

mqstout: I never played Nox when it was new-ish, and, when I tried to go back to it, I couldn't get into it from dated UX issues. Maybe I'll try again sometime.
It's a good game. :)

GameRager: I liked it, myself.....I also liked the "hacking" in neuromancer, which was alot of typing/etc. I feel such adds a bit of authenticity to said games.

I don't remember if I ever finished shadowrun or on what system....I do know I had it on emulator though.

As to bloodnet...I forget. The name sounds familiar though.

Pangaea666: But I am glad I stopped playing it.
Me too ;) and just like you, I really enjoyed my time playing it.
But I moved on.

idbeholdME: At level 26, definitely. Titan Quest builds up much more slowly than Grim Dawn. But if you compare end-game in both games, e.g. ~lvl 70 in TQ and lvl 100 in GD, GD suffers exactly from what you felt in TQ but to a much higher degree.
Well I just played TQ again for a few hours, up to level 29.. and yeah I feel that there's a big problem if the gameplay isn't getting engaging even after at least a two-three dozen hours in. That way I'll never get to endgame for real. As a matter of fact, Diablo 2 is the only game in this genre I've finished, and even that only on normal difficulty. I feel like the Barbarian does have a fairly engaging set of skills, at least. IIRC the Assassin is quite engaging as well. Rogue not so much, it's got some skills that are fun and powerful early on but then turn to crap as they don't scale enough with your character.

Idk, maybe I'm playing wrong class in TQ, but browsing the skill trees for other classes didn't make me feel particularly excited.
