OneFiercePuppy: Wow, I really read that as DRother and was SO EXCITED that someone was talking about OSPF on the forums.

::hangs head in shame::

Gamingenthusiast: I don't want the game, but did you know that the best samurai in existence had a westernized name (for a nickname)?

OneFiercePuppy: You mean Ghost Dog?
Nope. But now I have a movie to watch when I need to kill time. many thanks to you sir.

KiNgBrAdLeY7: Ok. Not in... But! Did you really know, that samurai, much like western knights, were NOT actually so chivalrous and honorable as they were propagated to be, plus they had been openly involved into occult traditions, like the ninja of old? They were not ashamed to hire ninja clans for doing their dirty job or utilizing unconventional weapons (firepower etc) against weaker, even crippled and disadvantaged foes. Also, the ronin (wayward wandering samurai not in service to a lord) were outright scum and criminals; raiders, thieves, killers in cold blood even of innocent civilians, rapists and drunkards. Some samurai were actually practicing openly the Shingon ritual, too, which... Enough said, sorry, i am not telling anything else on the matter.

About wolves... They can be partially tamed and domesticated. Some people even keep one as pet. I wouldn't, ever, for any reason, though.
In the past, Knights were mostly thugs for those in power and like today, honorable people were rare. And back then, there was chivalry but it wasn't what people today think chivalry is. The whole knights in shining armor rescuing damsels in distress thing is pure fantasy.

Not in but thank you for the giveaway!
The only samurai comes to my mind is Miyamoto Musashi
Thanks for the giveaway, but I think you're going to have a hard time finding someone who didn't already grab it for free. Not in (I have it as well), +1.
+1
Mot in
Wolves need a larger area than dogs, in order to be successfully kept as a "pet". They cannot be fully tamed, though, their instincts are genetically applied; children and other animals around them are in danger. Great care should be taken at what you feed them while still being cubs, because they can develop cataract in eyes and other illnesses, as the aftereffect of wrong or mal-nutrition. You must take care of them while still young, within a strict time limit of days even, or else, they will never be able to be "controlled".
Oh well, I guess this giveaway didn't work out. I really didn't remember when I got it and whether it was free for everyone or required to spend a certain amount on a sale. But if anyone's interested, this giveaway is still open.

Nope, sorry, not in. But i would like to share my findings, as well as upvote the generous OP.
I'm in! And here I am with a cool fact.

In Nobunaga's court there was the only black samurai ever existed. Originally a slave of a Jesuit priest called Alessandro Valignano, he traveled with him to Japan, where, in a audience with Nobunaga himself, who was really amazed (the Japanese had never seen a black person before), began a new life in the court under the name Yasuke. He became a free man and fought alongside Nobunaga.
