KiNgBrAdLeY7: Ok. Not in... But! Did you really know, that samurai, much like western knights, were NOT actually so chivalrous and honorable as they were propagated to be, plus they had been openly involved into occult traditions, like the ninja of old? They were not ashamed to hire ninja clans for doing their dirty job or utilizing unconventional weapons (firepower etc) against weaker, even crippled and disadvantaged foes. Also, the ronin (wayward wandering samurai not in service to a lord) were outright scum and criminals; raiders, thieves, killers in cold blood even of innocent civilians, rapists and drunkards. Some samurai were actually practicing openly the Shingon ritual, too, which... Enough said, sorry, i am not telling anything else on the matter.
About wolves... They can be partially tamed and domesticated. Some people even keep one as pet. I wouldn't, ever, for any reason, though.
In the past, Knights were mostly thugs for those in power and like today, honorable people were rare. And back then, there was chivalry but it wasn't what people today think chivalry is. The whole knights in shining armor rescuing damsels in distress thing is pure fantasy.
