I have a request. Any chance you could do a wrapper for Risen ?
The PoL script is... unreliable (having sound issues I can't seem to fix). It's on special (very cheaply) right now.

What sound issues are you encountering?

No sound at all except in the cutscenes.

But I managed to get it working later. The game sounds seem to absolutely fail to work with any version of wine newer than 1.8.4, I am so used to hacking .pol scripts to newer versions it didn't occur to me there could be a regression.

So hopefully this will help something else. Your wrappers are awesome however :) I got FONV working with barely a headache. ModOrganizer and a hacked xdg-open to integrate it with nxm links even. ENBoost and some pretty hefty mods - and working smooth as butter.
If only I could ever get skyrim working that well.

I had a quick look & didn't have this issue with 2.0-staging (2.10-staging had issues with stuttering). I'll take a closer look and see about releasing a wrapper for it after Wine 3.0 & 3.0-staging are out.

Well if Bethesda ever release Skyrim here I'd definitely look into making a wrapper for that :)
It would be nice if they did, but somehow I don't see Beth ever letting Skyrim out of DRM sadly.

I wouldn't be so sure... people were certain that we'd never see Fallout 3 or Fallout: New Vegas here either.
Just a thought, since you are making scripts, it's better to publish them on some code management site like Gitlab or Github. That would be more accessible than making dropbox tarballs.

It has already been suggested before & I plan to look into it at some point.

You know, it surprises me that I can be disappointed in a game giveaway!

I see an update to this thread, I excitedly open it up to see what game has been adamhm'ed next, ohh, it 's just adamhm giving away another game. Sigh.

Thanks for the wrappers and all of the giveaways!!

And it appears to have been redeemed within 10 minutes or least since adamhm posted it (I already own the game, but tried the "decypher" the code nonetheless :P)

There won't be any more wrappers until after Wine 3.0/3.0-staging have been released (I also plan to update all current wrappers to 3.0 or 3.0-staging then), which shouldn't be far off now :)

Still available:

All wrappers have been updated, with most having also been updated to Wine 3.0. Everything appears ok from the testing I've done so far but please let me know if you encounter any regressions.

I've made the decision to use Wine 3.0 instead since the situation with Wine Staging is currently unclear. Most wrappers have been updated to Wine 3.0 but a few have not, for various reasons:

FEAR 2 - Automatic resolution selection fails with newer Wine versions (or at least 2.21-staging and 3.0). Holding at 2.10-staging for now.
Fallout 3 & New Vegas - Needs patches from staging otherwise there are sound/music playback issues. Updated to 2.21-staging for now.
Sam & Max series - Needs patches from staging otherwise there are various graphics issues. Updated to 2.21-staging for now.
Total Annihilation - Needs patches from staging for better audio quality. Updated to 2.21-staging for now.

Deadly Premonition - same as above
Rollercoaster Tycoon 3 - same as above
Try with the master branch of winetricks, wmp9: update overrides.

Thanks - yeah, that works now so I'll update those wrappers to Wine 3.0 as well if there aren't any other issues.
