Shadow Warrior 2 FREE for 48h, Renowned Releases, New Look, and More

**UPDATE: Giveaway Voting Ended**

Ten years is a touching affair, a rare achievement for a gaming platform – so we've prepared a week of celebrations with games and freebies! Here's what's in store:

We wouldn't be here without our community – so for the first time ever you got to choose the game for our Anniversary Giveaway! The three nominees were: Firewatch, Shadow Warrior 2, and SUPERHOT. After a fierce battle, the charming Mr. Wang eliminated the competition and Shadow Warrior 2 is now FREE until October 6th, 2:15pm UTC.
If you voted for the other two, don't fret - SUPERHOT is 50% off and Firewatch 75% off until the end of the sale.

We've crafted three Anniversary Collections, each packing a selection of must-play games at excellent prices:
The Timeless Essentials is all about the legends: Theme Hospital, Dungeon Keeper 2, System Shock 2, and Another World all for 5 USD.
The Art of Aging Gracefully collection features the unmissable Owlboy, Homeworld Remastered and Dragon Age: Origins at 10 USD.
• Last but far from least it's The Modern Classics collection, set at 25 USD it will get you Kingdom Come: Deliverance, Battle Chasers: Nightwar, and Shadow Tactics: Blades of the Shogun.

Drop by and find more of the greatest DRM-free games ever up to 80% off in our Anniversary Sale.

To mark the 10th Anniversary we're bringing DRM-freedom to Stellaris together with Paradox Entertainment. We've also restored Indiana Jones and the Infernal Machine for the fortune and glory, and reignited a remarkable old flame: Soldier of Fortune – both now available only on GOG.COM.

This week’s celebrations are also a perfect time to introduce some pretty big changes to the store — it's a visual overhaul that's looking very spiffy, but also an upgrade to how you'll discover the best of the best. Every single game will have more room to shine, and information that's important to you will be accessible at a hover and a glance. The review system will become more robust as well, offering better insight into what other members of the community are thinking.

Finally – we invite you to join us on a nostalgic trip through the history of GOG.COM, from 1994 and the events which inspired our philosophy, all the way into our future… because this decade is just the beginning.

Also, do make sure to drop by our Twitch channel - we got a special treat for you this week. Get ready for 100 hours of streaming, including guests from the days of yore like MegapiemanPHD, Donis, Alex, E___A, Tikanjiah, PantslessAaron, Rerez, ChronoWolf, Outstar, and Judas!

The GOG.COM 10th Anniversary and all offers will be around until October 7th, 10pm UTC.

All critique aside, congratulations on keeping this place running for 10 years! I think that alone deserves some respect.

The new store page redesign seems to be optimized for mobile devices? Seems a bit confusing and inefficient compared to the old design, but some of the new features are nice.
Since it's an anniversary : Can we expect new games on each day ?
Happy Anniversary GOG! Thanks for the quality of service only you bring, all the amazing old and not so old games you acquire regularly and the good prices. Last but definitely not least, the DRM-Free system that made me buy here from 2015 and on.
Happy Birthday, Gog!
Happy Birthday GOG!
We need more new games freed of DRM ^__^

And thank you very much for using your 10th anniversary to break another good old tradition on GOG, that owned games are counted in our favor!

What are you doing? the site now looks like it's designed for a rotated widescreen, aka mobile phone garbage and the new game releases are not only way overpriced but are mostly average at best.

I sincerely hope these aren't the only new releases you've been holding onto for the anniversary... but I guess it was silly of me to think something actually big would happen.

And fix the site layout for PC gamers who use real monitors FFS.

Happy anniversary I guess.

-Nachtmahr-: Happy Birthday!

Sadly this sale is underwhelming. I guess it will take another 10 years until we get the good "good old games" and titles that many requested for years, such as Chasm the rift, no one lives forever, soldier of fortune series and many semi retro games.

I have already had enough of all these soulless indie games and will probably only buy unreal, if it will ever be on sale again, and lurk in the dark until said titles are available. You really need to think back and remember what made gog special and who your customers are. You might want to expand but many don't care about these japanese low budget "games" and 1000 pixel retro inspired indie titles.
We added all three Solider of Fortune games today.

As a side note, some of our recent best sellers have been the ''games'' you speak about ;)

I can't wait to see what releases they have planned for the rest of the week.

TheyLive1984: No preorder for Cyberpunk 2077 yet? I am a saaad panda...
Oh, you enjoy paying for stuff, then enjoy waiting for stuff, then enjoy waiting some more for stuff, then enjoy being anxious about whether you will be disappointed about stuff when stuff finally is being delivered?

Don't fret. I can help you. Just send me 70 Euros today. When CP2077 will be released, i will acquire and provide a valid license for you on the day of release. If the game will be less than 70 Euros on release day, i am going to throw in some worthless tat for you; that should surely make you happy.... and make me happy, too... :-)))

Ohh, almost forgot; Happy birthday GOG!

Best sellers have to do with what the general market wants. That's entirely different, in many ways quite the opposite, to what made GOG great at first and the desires of the core user base of the first years, maybe the first half of GOG's "life" so far, those who got you in the position to even consider expanding to what you ended up (sadly).
Congratulations GOG and many years to come.

By the way has the wishlist been fixed yet?

Happy birthday and congratulations GOG!

Thank you for some wonderful old games which I still can enjoy now
Thank you for being DRM free
Thank you for having quite some Linux support

Thank you for sleepless nights with Insomniasales and great threads full of laughing
even if with the last years increase of customers weve seen also not so nice threads and behaviour

The new design is Ok but a little bit "too much" i like more information/text and not more bling bling and loonger loading times especially the very big "add to cart" box which is overlaying the game graphics on top is a little bit out of the design flow (on Firefox, Resolution full HD)
Great for letting us sort the reviews finally and adding a link to the game specific forum would be a good idea as already others has mentioned.

Hail to the next 10 Years!
Happy anniversary to both of us :)
By now our friendship lasts longer than many marriages.
Given, I mostly had to pay for our fun, but you were always generous with gifts and kindness.
You never stood still in all the years. You broadened your and my horizon, you worked hard to stay attractive.
I'm still feeling that tingly pleasure...

GOG, thank you for the fun.
Oh my GOG! You're 10 already?!
And I've been with you for 80 percent of that time...

I believe you're here to stay and will provide us with gaming goodness for X years to come.
Certainly 'X' doesn't stand for 10 in the above sentence, mind you :)

Just be as awesome as you are and keep doing your thing.
