Absolutely awful.
In short, it's just bad. There's none of the things likeable about X-com in there, mostly just insultingly bad dialogue and thinly veiled woke nonsense. Maps are dull and lifeless, and you start out every match by breaching an area, followed by boring gameplay to clear the room, then it's repeated over and over. The characters are just deplorable, none of them have any likeable qualities at all, and the art style just does not feel at home in the setting what so ever. Dont get it if you're a fan of the series or above the age of 12.

a fan made flash game
it plays like a fan made flash game designed for a console and crashed to desktop before i could even finish the second mission. voices are awkward and in no way match the aliens they're supposed to represent. the muton sounds like an apathetic pothead and the snake lady wants to see my manager. you don't get to create or recruit your team, nor do you get to customize them. you occasionally get to select one from a choice of three captain planet rejects. oh, and be sure to print out your SJW cliché bingo card before you begin. this game is a piece of crap and an embarrassment to the XCOM franchise...

If Twitter and ResetEra made Xcom.
-Pre-made cringe characters (all of which are non-white) that you have to use in your squad as opposed to previous games. -The squad's shield motto translates to "Diversity is our strength" lol. -Constant cringe themes of how we should all live with one another in one multicultural society. -Much smaller areas which means less tactics involved. All in all a woke cringe fest which I'm sure most normal people could have guessed with a simple glimpse of the screenshots.
