What Remains of Edith Finch is a collection of strange tales about a family in Washington state.
As Edith, you’ll explore the colossal Finch house, searching for stories as she explores her family history and tries to figure out why she's the last one in her family left alive. Each story you find lets you experience the life of a new family member on the day of their death, with stories ranging from the distant past to the present day.
The gameplay and tone of the stories are as varied as the Finches themselves. The only constants are that each is played from a first-person perspective and that each story ends with that family member's death.
Ultimately, it's a game about what it feels like to be humbled and astonished by the vast and unknowable world around us.

Beautiful, Special Game
...and possibly the greatest walking simulator to have ever been made. It has a story so meaningful and beautiful that I hope it doesn't get spoiled before you can play it, and the length of the game feels just right for the story presented. It reminds me of *Encanto*, if *Encanto* were mixed w/ Chaz Addams' morbidity and was ACTUALLY a marvelous example of magical realism.

Very good for what it is
Rating: 4/5 In short: Tells a compelling story that keeps you (emotionally) invested all the way. Noteworthy: + Beautiful story + Great visuals / sound design / voice acting + Very playful and well thought out mini-games to complement the narrative + Has the perfect (imho) play-time for this type of game

Amazing
Played on Xbox game pass because it looked good. But I was surprised on how good for a fairly cheap game so had to buy it the little changes in perspective make the gameplay fun and engaging while also being emotionally stimulating.
