fights can be hard, story partly good

Didnt play dark souls before and started Vampyr without big expectations, but unconsciously choosing hard mode by killing no humans. From Boss Fergal to the end this game is getting very hard. I think most people stop playing this game at Boss Fergal, cause trophies are <=1% upon this point till the end. Talking to NPCs is just spamming buttons to skip, just want to finish this. Currently in the last chapter the camera is killing me. An enemy awaits the character in a very narrow room, where you have to move the camera a lot and guessing what the enemy is doing by listening. Overall the movement and fighting style motivates, except the jumping enemies. They are jumping beside you, but caught you anyway, that would have needed some fine-tuning.

Fun game uwuwuwu

I enjoyed this game but don't really feel like writing a super long review. The game actually made me feel emotions with it's very organic story telling and eating your friends, and I enjoyed the combat a lot too. The game did run like shit and felt overly long though. I would recommend picking it up if you have a powerful PC, and playing on hard for the best story expierence.

Worth a suck

I wouldn't recommend this if you're looking for a game where you are continually presented with a variety of choice. However, if you want something more unique and investigatory than I would say give Vampyr a try. I was continually enthralled in the narrative. Discovering all the personal details of the citizens inhabiting the diseased boroughs of London was excellent. The added mechanic of administering medicine to the individuals you come across and watching over their health as the nights progress was an interesting one. You are often urged to turn these people into your victims and embrace them for massive boosts to your power. I ended up playing the good doctor throughout, but there are plenty of rotten characters in this one, which should make for an entertaining replay in the future. Peeling apart the different social layers throughout the city was the definite highlight for me. I don’t have much to say where the combat is concerned. It’s serviceable, maybe a bit clunky at times. Without a doubt it’s the major area the devs should focus on improving when the time comes for the sequel. Ultimately it didn’t spoil the overall experience with the game.

Great game

I really liked this game. The only thing i didn't like was the lack of fast travell. You need to walk way too much to complete the quests
