While taking a break from playing a tabletop RPG, Daniel, an average guy from modern times, is transported to Harnakon’s Castle. Thinking that he is suffering from a hallucination, he decides that he is going to run the adventure for as long as the illusion lasts. I have this game in Spanish with Spanish voices and it's just great! Like old 2D games, it mix exploration, RPG, arcade, humor, insults, great bosses, magic...
One of the biggest surprises to me, I really recommend this game!
It is a mixture of rpg story and a lode runner type platformer. The controls are a lot like lode runner also. If you like rpg games and loved lode runner you cant go wrong. It is really fun and has a great storyline.
I had purchased the game a while back and I just finished it now. I really enjoyed the game with the traditional RPG jokes. The characters were fun and I liked the story. I think I will roll the game at least another time to see a different ending. Really enjoyable game.
I tried to like this game very hard, as I love metroidvania games, but the game features absurd difficulties that show poor testing. I quit when I was about 80% onto the game because I hadn't learned the proper proficiencies and a boss was just impossible. It didn't help that the game sports a "superduper" anti cheating feature so you can't hack your way out of these kind of blunders, nor it let's you grind levels in order to learn them.
It's a really good story and funny too, but once you went through it, there is no point in playing it, the game is the same... at least to me it seems to be. Puzzles, combat and several other things including humour and side jokes will keep you busy. This game would be nice to be rented, but not to buy.
