Titanic: Adventure Out of Time

Running on Windows 10, I am unable to save my game and the game crashes when I try. The discussion threads for the game show that several people have this issue, and there's a suggestion that an update to the GOG release caused the issue. It's a shame because the game seems to be packed with content. I was also getting the issue where spoken dialogue cuts off a split second too early - this is a shame but if it was the only issue I would probably still enjoy playing.

Was trying it on Windows 11. It stays on 2% installed and then crashes.

I've played a lot of old adventure games and some are fantastic, some are terrible and some are just frustrating. This one is frustrating. I can'y play it in a window so if I have to use the other monitor the game locks up. The game itself is quite well done for it's time, but it's a bit buggy and the game saving/loading is annoying, I guess it's just old but really it's not good. The worst problem was trying to use the Enigma machine/decoder, no matter what I did I just couldn't get it to work, so I never managed to decode the telegram and finally gave up on the game.
