Travel 2,000 years into the past and relive the final days of a cursed Roman city, where if one person sins, everyone dies. Combat is an option, but violence will only get you so far. Only by questioning an intertwined community of colourful characters, cleverly exploiting the time loop, and making difficult moral choices can you hope to solve this epic mystery. Here, your decisions matter. The fate of the city is in your hands.

The Forgotten City may have evolved from a mod for an action RPG, but like the mod, this game is in a totally different genre. It’s a mystery adventure game, developed by a core team of three people. If you don’t go into this expecting a Triple-A action RPG, you’ll have a much better time!
I loved this game so much! It took me 10 hours to finish it and I enjoyed every minute of it.
The atmosphere is great. The writing, the characters, the stories and twists are really good. I enjoyed the music. The gating is very clever. Ifg you are into rogue-lite crime adventures this is the game for you!
To find some downsides: the shooter gameplay is a bit clunky and some sound effects could be better. I didn't get most archivements due to some error.
I'm now busy printing my 3D statue for my desk and maybe I'll try endings 1-3 later. But for now I'm happy for the story and the immersion into that fantastic world.
I played the Skyrim Mod a few years ago and was very happy to hear a game is planned.
The game is a bit different, but just as good, if not better. took me around 10 hours to unlock all endings, but these were pretty amazing 10 hours! IDK what to add without spoilers, but if you liked the mod, you'll LOVE the game!
Very well done "Walking Simulator" with an engaging story, good twists and an extremly satisfying ending (No. 4). Skyrim players may feel like they are in some modified Markarth, which is absolutely not the worst of ambients.
All NPCs are real individuals with a convincing story to tell, and the more the player gets involved in their fate, the more engaging it gets.
Go for the temple I would say, and get surprised!
