Tainted Grail: Conquest

this has to be one of the most beautiful games in terms of its gruesome plus the music is ecstatic . Gameplay wise and story its actually weird but in a good way , if you like card games and deck bulding this one will satisfy you

started playing this to prep myself for the luanch of the new Tainted Grail title coming nect week, so far so good.

This game is a pleasant surprise. It doesn't have the build depth of games like Slay the Spire, Griftlands, or Monster Train, but what it lacks in individual builds, it makes up for with nine different class selections that offer lots of replayability and unlockables. You will be grinding persistent currencies to upgrade your village, unlocking villagers and their individual quests lines with each run. There is no variation in quest structure with each quest being a version of encounter this NPC/monster in one of your run after initiating a given villager's quest. The setting is interesting with good supporting voice acting, enjoyable music, and writing. If you're a fan of deck builders, you'll find enjoyment here, especially on a deep discount.

This game is VERY early access. Lots of bugs, graphical kinks, crashes. Not a lot of content. Campaign takes around 30 minutes before it's abrupt end. It's more of a demo really. The other game mode, conquest, gets old quick. It's unbalanced; a lot is left up to luck. And there are gamebreaking bugs which halt progression. It's way too underdeveloped to be worth $25. You'd be better waiting a year or two until it's complete, to see if it's worth it.

Fun turn based game to play. Don't worry about dying and just have fun.
