Decent but feels incomplete, don't buy

Having beaten the game, all I can say is that it starts as a great Escape Velocity type game but by the midgame becomes bogged down by lack of freedom, and a story that feels incomplete, regardless of the two endings you choose. In particular, one of the endings doesn't even have an ending screen. It just sticks the player into an area with identical systems. So to summarize, get it if it's on sale for $5.00 or so, at the $10.00 (a generous 50% discount from GOG, kudos to them), I would not recommend it, and certainly not at full price.

Really nice game!

Been playing for about 6 hours now. The only thing that's been bothering me is that twice now I lost at least an hour because I forgot to save, and I like to move manually between solar systems...

Nice space exploration game

Has basic but fun combat, no real story, just some snippets that form a bigger picture. Its mostly about exploring, skirmishing and upgrading your ship, in a simple but good way. For me it is scratching an itch ive had since Gof2 or at least part of it. Nice Game for a weekends time.

Great overall game

It certainly does have its faults such as not always being very clear about what the objective is but overall its a fun game with a decent amount of intersting things to find and do. Would recommend and especially if it is on sale.
