Addictive

I paid just over £6 for this game & it is well worht it. The exploration is a bit like the encounters in FTL, you have multiple choices with positive or negative outcomes. Space combat is pretty good, similar to reassembly or SPAZ. The ship design and research is pretty fun allowing you to focus on what you think would benfit your playstyle best.

simple Star Control 2 w cool ship editor

Great game with good sci-fi story-telling, cool ship design, beautiful light and space, effects and associated research tree and in my experience as of GOG version in August of 2022 - ZERO BUGS, no idea what that other guy was talking about. The planet surveys get a bit repeatative, but not nearly as much as you think for how many there are. If you like sci-fi or space games, play this, you will like it. If you like anything with a ship builder, you will like this. Even if you don`t, you will still probably enjoy it enough to play through its 20-ish hours of gameplay.

Pleasantly Surprised

Got the game cause i needed a time killer and it was on sale , the longer i played the more i realized theres more to this game . Game play is fun and theres alot more content then meets the eye. I would get is , especially if its on sale!

One of the most incredible sci-fi games

It's a game where every time I try to explore more, I am curious about the history, the technology, the aliens, everything here is amazing. It's like a star trek serie, I feel like playing a star trek game. I recomend for everybody, it's a nice gem, a great game, specially if you like to discover new facts in a game, and if you are a trekker.
