STAR WARS™: The Force Unleashed™ II

If you played the first STAR WARS™: The Force Unleashed, then you'll find yourself right at home here. While it is a more polished game, it didn't have enough to keep me playing. Once I made it to the credits, I uninstalled. Still, if you are a Star Wars fan it is worth checking out!

The story in these is amazing and really makes the game. Sadly these ports from consoles are absolutely horrible. This one is much better than the first one but still lacks and really falls down towards the end where your basically playing mario world. Maybe that's fun for the under 18 crowd but us older folks really don't want to spent 30 minutes trying to hit the exact spot on a moving platform 440 times!! I mean at least make the easy setting allow for some leayway but nope.. Doesn't matter what setting you choose for the platform jumping parts. The boss and mini boss fights are fun at first but when you fight the same ones over and over it gets really tiring. I try to change it up on how you fight them but your forced into a flash timing sequence which sucks. If you must have this get it on sale, dont pay anywhere near full price.

You might allready know that this game ist really short with 5-6h playtime average. But you might also want to know, that this game does crash to desktop really often (especially while watching cut scenes). I am playing this game with Windows 10.

graphics look great and the game starts off very promising, but the gameplay quickly gets somewhat repetitive. still fun though

Really, it's mostly most of the same. The abilities were a bit reorganized, the controls were a bit improved, the graphics is much better (2 years is a big difference in that field). But apart from that - it's still a console port with all its annoyances - very linear action, quirky camera, frustrating controls and those bloody quick time events. Can't say much about the story since I'm only some 2h into the game. So if you liked the first one - chances are you'll like this one as well. If not - it's not that much of an improvement.
