Description
The Star Wars® Saga continues with Star Wars®: The Force Unleashed™ II, the highly anticipated sequel to the fastest-selling Star Wars game ever created. In Star Wars: The Force Unleashed, the world was introduced to Darth Vader’s now fugitive apprentice, Starkiller—the unlikely hero who would ignite the flames of rebellion in a galaxy so desperately in need of a champion.

In the sequel, Starkiller returns with over-the-top Force powers and embarks on a journey to discover his own identity and to reunite with his one true love, Juno Eclipse. In Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II, Starkiller is once again the pawn of Darth Vader—but instead of training his protégé as a ruthless assassin, the dark lord is attempting to clone his former apprentice in an attempt to create the Ultimate Sith warrior. The chase is on – Starkiller is in pursuit of Juno and Darth Vader is hunting for Starkiller.

With all-new devastating Force powers and the ability to dual-wield lightsabers, Starkiller cuts a swath through deadly new enemies across exciting worlds from the Star Wars films - all in his desperate search for answers to his past.
  • Continue the galaxy-altering journey of Starkiller, Darth Vader's fugitive apprentice, that shapes the key events between Star Wars: Episode III and Episode IV.
  • Unleash the Force with more power and precision through improved controls and new powers, such as the deceptive Mind Trick, which turns enemies against their allies.
  • Discover the true power of Starkiller with Force Fury, where his attacks and Force powers are exponentially increased.
  • Improved targeting system enhances precision use of Force powers and greater interaction with puzzles and the environment.
  • Take combat to the next level with the ability to wield dual lightsabers and punish enemies with all-new combo attacks.
  • Experience the most life-like interactions with Pixelux Entertainment's Digital Molecular Matter (DMM) coupled with euphoria from Natural Motion Ltd and the powerful Havok Physics system.
  • Expanded customization options such as new costumes and power-enhancing lightsaber crystals.
  • Fight through all-new challenge levels designed to test and hone your fighting and Force power skills.
  • Skillfully manage your combat techniques to defeat a variety of brand-new enemies, which will culminate in epic boss battles.
  • Immerse yourself once again in the story that was honored with awards from the Writer's Guild of America and the Academy of Interactive Arts and Sciences.

Get It On Sale.

Short story: Been a Star Wars fan since I was a kid and I loved TFU 1 for it's concept of using The Force in ways unseen and I loved the story about Vader having his own secret apprentice and unwittingly being the one who founds the Rebel Alliance and Galen's sacerfice at the end was well-done. I even enjoyed the USE which rolled in all the DLC and continued the Dark Side ending. In many ways, it's sequel The Force Unleashed 2 was a disappointment. Like the game was rushed out half-finished because when you finish the story, it feels like it's only the halfway point. I am a pretty easy to please fan but this game is just not worth $20 for all you get. You don't even get the Endor or Character Pack DLCs that the consoles got. But this port for the PC IS EVEN WORSE. When I installed this game and booted it up, I didn't get any cutscenes it just dropped me into the gameplay. After doing a bit of research I found out the cutscenes AREN'T EVEN FORMATTED PROPERLY. They will not play. I had to consult the PC Gaming Wiki to find a solution but the fact I even had to is a problem. My advice? Get this game on sale if you HAVE to have it but I'd stick with the first game if I were you. I bought this during the May The 4th sale when it was on sale for $7 which looking back was about right because it FEELS like a $7 game.

The game does NOT work!

Typical LucasArts console port. I don't know if it's Windows 10, or having a modern graphics card, or just having two graphics cards in a laptop. But whatever it is, this game does NOT work! I've tried every compatibility fix and downloaded every patch and mod on the game's wiki page, but nothing fixes it. The game crashes before you can even play it. Do NOT buy this game as is!

Better, But Not By Much

This sequel improves on the original in a few ways- the controls are more responsive, the quick time events are more forgiving and less numerous, the boss battles aren't locked into a weird camera angle that makes it nearly impossible to fight, and the enemies can't cheaply stunlock you. Even the voice acting is much better. Unfortunately, this is balanced out by the game being quite short, with only a handful of levels, one of which barely contains any gameplay and another of which is a retread of the same location from the very first level, giving the game a very limited scope. What there is is decent, with some memorable action-packed scenes, but it all feels a bit small and cheap, especially since this version doesn't include the extra non-canon dark side Endor content, which, frankly, sounds like it would have been a blast. Instead we get tedious, excessively difficult optional challenge levels that reward you with extra lightsaber crystals, costumes and experience that the game is too short to justify earning, since there's barely any content to actually use them in. It's also brimming with bugs and glitches, such as quick time prompts so tiny you need a microscope to spot them if you're using a modern resolution, cutscenes with bizarre inverted colors that make everyone have blue skin, jagged, weird-looking shadows, and the more-than-occasional crash to desktop. If you can put up with the bugs it's worth playing once, but unfortunately this one is too flawed to considered a classic.

Short & glitchy

Your main enemy is camera: always moving to point in wrong direction. After I've used to controls game ended real quick. There were a lot of accidental crashes and I've stuck not able to start one level - game constantly crashed. Perpetrator was video player used in gamae: I've remove *LOAD video files under FMV folder in game installation, "lost" pictures for loading screen, but can start that level.

Extremely short

This game feels half cooked at best. The story is pretty poor and you can wrap up the story mode in about 4h. Not to mention it ends in a massive cliffhanger, which will never be followed through. The only good thing about it is the extra endor mission, where you get to obliterate ewoks
