STAR WARS™ Galactic Battlegrounds Saga

This is probably the best Star wars RTS ever made.Empire at war doesnt even come close in my opinion. Ensemble Studios are legendary for creating amazing RTS games and this is no exception HECK It's currently in a 60% discount...so get it....like...NOW

Ok first and foremost, this is the game of my childhood. Absolutely love it. But I'm currently struggling with an issue where my tool box on the left hand for my troops is just blank. Can't set hostility or change formations or anything. I'm veirfying the game files but currently can't figure out why it's bunked out like that. If I fix is, I'll bump the Stars Back up to 5.

I enjoyed this game because I am a fan of Age of Empires II and 90's RTS games. So if you are a fan as well I think this will feel 'right' in your hands. In my opinion the reason this game is not as popular as Age of Empires II is because the game was too complex, too many units, buildings, the mechanics were too complex and the visuals were kind of outdated for the time it was released. This is why I enjoyed the game at first, because there were many characters, the 'factions' felt very different and the attention to detail was amazing, but also the game was hard to learn, so I got bored after a while. However I think this game can be fun if you give it a chance.

It's actualy quite simple: DO YOU LOVE *AGE OF EMPIRES 2* GAME? (X) YES - buy SW:GB! ( ) NO - don't buy SW:GB... it's the same mechanics, the same graphic, the same style... in other words... IT'S AWESOME!

Great Game!!! Complete and still entertaining if a little bit dated. My old copy of the game hasn't run for years I'm so happy to have found it again. One of the best RTS's of its day. In this day and age of Monetization it's good to know GOG is around to provide Great Games, DRM Free just like the Good Old Days.
