STAR WARS™ Episode I: Racer

loading screen pops up and then it says: "rdroid_gnome release build stopped working" i dont know what to do

Wanna feel like you're moving with 600 mp/h (approx 965 km/h)? Well, that game gives you this feeling. I remember when I was around 11 years old and lied to my grandmother that I "went to take a walk" and was actually spending my time (and her money) in the local PC gaming club playing this lovely game. The soundtrack is great — it's taken directly from the Episode 1: TPM movie (cheers to John Williams). I used to own an old boxed limited edition copy of this game and at some point I was unfortunately forced to sell it. Thank you, GOG, for optimizing this game for modern operating systems! it was a huge challenge to make this run on XP SP3 at some point; I remember that around 2005 or 2006 I was forced to use Debugging Tools for Windows to make this game running on XP SP3 — it was a pain in the ass. The graphics suck, but I don't care. (:

Im getting the same crash alot of others are. On Windows 10, as soon as the game launches, I get the rdroid_gnome crash and I tried one of the other reviewers suggestion by doing a clean install and then going into the video settings BEFORE launching the game but as soon as I clicked on video settings via GOG Galaxy, it crashed all the same. Anyone have a fix for this? Will happily give it five stars as soon as this is fixed

This game is broken, I've honestly never seen a game for PC be this broken. I tried everything on the support document that GoG will message. It isn't GoG's fault the game is unable to work but they legit should not sell this game. I tried Other avenues of getting this game as well but those also did not work. The port is absolutely broken.

Was really looking forward to this one with everyone else, and it crashes every time. I really shouldn't have to go digging through game files and making changes to a brand new release thats been 'optimized'. Will be returning to the store.
