STAR WARS™ Episode I: Racer

The game is alright. It's about pod racing at 600MPH with Star Wars themes. You can unlock everything after some playthrough, so it eventually will become boring. If you, at least somewhat, like Star Wars, this game is for you. There are some technical issues when trying to use a controller. Overall, this game is ok if you get it on sale.

I miss playing this game. After more than ten years I still remember the tracks. I confirm that the GOG version works very well on Windows 7 x64, including the in-game videos. Better was if the game would run on 1080p or more. Playing 640x480 on a 4K monitor is not very handsome, but well, at least I was able to go to Watto's shop and take a look around his junk :)

First played this game on N64 when I was a kid. It's so fun to come back to after all these years. May require minor tinkering to keep from crashing/artifacting, but once you get it working it's great! It's also somewhat challenging once you get further in the game. Nothing is better than blasting through a desert in a pod racer, and this game really lets you feel that.

We need another racer, with better graphics & expanded gameplay (maybe do that instead of bloody Acolyte thingie)

I got this game around when it played out when I was a small child and it still holds up, great racing game, good graphics for the time, very unique physics, great soundtrack (uses a lot of Duel of the Fates, what did you expect?) and very fun. Relatively short, but good for what it is.
