Samorost 2 is a decent adventure game which takes place in a quirky world and has a quirky art style.
Unfortunately, I just don’t have the patience anymore to handle this kind of moon logic and hidden objects type of game.
Rating: Pink elephant with three trunks.

After playing the original I was excited to get into this game, but despite being paid I feel like this game might be a downgrade.
First and most noticeably, there's allot of visual glitches. It felt like on every screen there were these weird black artifacts on different objects/characters. I checked the original and this happens occasionally but not as frequent and since this game is longer you could imagine just how many artifacts I saw here compared to the original.
Second was allot more intrusive, occasionally the game glitched out and I couldn't interact with certain objects, sometimes I couldn't interact with anything and was forced to load a checkpoint. I initially thought I was being dumb but after resorting to a guide it turns out I just couldn't interact with something I was supposed to.
Checking guides because of this also lead to me spoiling some puzzles for myself.
If it's just certain things I couldn't interact with I was able to fix it by fiddling with something else, but often this lead to loading, the best way to prevent it altogether was to avoid clicking on intractable objects in a way that lead to nothing happening.
- An example, there were certain valves near the end of the game that moves an object to the left or the right, it the object'is already at an edge *don't* twist the lever that moves it in the direction of the edge it's already at.
Another way to avoid it is to let animations play before clicking on anything else, unless those objects are intended to be clicked on during time sensitive moments.
There was also the occasional glitch where I could drag something and place it somewhere it wasn't supposed to go, sometimes I couldn't pick it up again, which lead to a load.
It's fun for what it is, but it's glitches make it hard to recommend, just get it on sale tbh.
Haven't tried 3 but hoping these kinds of glitches are ironed out.
Easy trial and error puzzles. You simply click on everything that is active and when you see the pattern then you are home free. The unique graphics in these short and relaxing games are the main draw for me and I look forward to more of the same goodness.
Played on Linux with Proton (there's a Linux version of the game, but relies on your browser having flash support and what not).
Experienced 2 "major" bugs, which wouldn't let me progress, but by the game's design, it is easy to restart the level with minimal loss of progress. It still makes the experience a bit frustrating as It makes you start to wonder whether you're not getting the puzzles or just having a bug (with that said, most of the puzzles are simple enough this doesn't become a huge issue).
Everything else is wonderful, really recommend the experience, even more so at a discounted price.
The game is fun and interesting, but there are moments where you get locked out of the rest of the game due to input bugs (like not being able to press a thing at a certain moment, requiring you to reload the current scene using the load feature).
I would love to play it in a non-buggy form, since it was fun and enjoyable up til now.
