Samorost 2

Samorost 2 made me smile. It has some really fun animations and is really enjoyable to play. It sadly is too short and I dislike that this game doesn't scale with your monitors resolution.

Samorost 2 is a good follow-up to the first game. It continues the series' surreal environments with its interesting puzzles, unique art design och relaxing soundtrack. You once again play as the Czech cartoon guy, but this time your dog is kidnapped by aliens! The game is a bit longer than the first one, with various environments and puzzles. Despite lack of text or anything besides visual clues, you can follow a story as you progress. Excited for what Samorost 3 has to bring, as well as the rest of the games from the developers!

Artwork and theme are fantastic, puzzles in the game are ok I guess, I would not say they are difficult because you simply dont know the exact place to click on and that is very annoying. The story is simple and fits nicely into the themes of the game. This game is obviosly a transition between flash game and an indie game, however it is still more of a flash game then a full pledged title.

'Samorost 2' is a beautiful game, filled with imaginative images, a soothing soundtrack, whimsy and delight. As much as I enjoyed these qualities, it is a very short game, possibly expanded by the challenge imposed on you by its timing puzzles. For such a brief (yet intricately made) Flash game, I find it a tad bit expensive for its original price, but you may want to check it out if it is discounted.

Samorost 2 is a decent adventure game which takes place in a quirky world and has a quirky art style. Unfortunately, I just don’t have the patience anymore to handle this kind of moon logic and hidden objects type of game. Rating: Pink elephant with three trunks. https://pixelloot.com
