Description
What happened to the humans? Set in a post-apocalyptic world strewn with cast-off pieces of machinery, Primordia tells the story of Horatio Nullbuilt, who finds his peaceful existence threatened when a rogue robot steals his power core—the sole source of energy fueling his ship and keeping him alive. To recover it, the robot and his companion, Crispin, must leave behind their idyllic home for Metropol, the city of glass and light. Their quest to reclaim what has been taken away will lead Horatio to unexpected discoveries about his origins—and a new understanding of the humans who walked the earth before him.

  • Puzzles that emphasize logical thinking and exploration rather than trial and error or pointless backtracking.
  • A streamlined interface, player-friendly design combined with the challenge and depth of the classics.
  • Features over fifty hand-drawn rooms to explore, dozens of distinctive characters to meet, and gorgeous painted cutscenes to soak in.

High Quality Point and Click Adventure

The writing, music, and most puzzles were very well done, as well as the art work. I would give it 5 stars except: -there were some bugs I encountered -some puzzles were very arbitrary, requiring me to use a walkthrough to tell me that I needed to use a specific object on another specific object without any hint or clue in the game that this was needed and no seeming relation between the two objects.

I'm ashamed

I liked the game It's one of my favorites the only problem is lagging there isn't much of them , but I remember being stuck on the second puzzle not being able to do a thing because i couldn't do something

Good story, but uneventful at times.

As far as point-and-click adventure goes, this had all the right kind of puzzles (challenging, with enough clues to figure them out with minimal or no outside help), and the characters/world was interesting, but for a game created in 2012 I found the movement/interface a bit clunky. In fact, when I bought this, my immediate impression was that this was an old game--maybe created in the 1990's. There isn't much freedom of movement, and while the artwork is beautiful, there aren't many things/objects to "interact" with other than the object needed to solve the puzzle. I liked the multiple endings, and it was a fun take on the post-apocalyptic scenario. It's definitely worth a buy if you want to lose a few hours, but I wouldn't say it's nearly as satisfying as other games out there.

Nice idea, but...

The graphics were more pixelated than what I was expecting from the preview. There was no way to change the resolution in the settings, so I don't know if this was intentionally retro, but it was an eyesore. The "logical" puzzles weren't always so logical (dipping something in grease makes it... sticky??? the right click button on the mouse arbitrarily switches actions for a single item in a single puzzle without any kind of indication?), so I had to look at the walkthrough to get past a couple points. And, if you're agnostic or athiest (or you're religious but recognize evolution as a valid scientific explanation for our forms), the repeated-to-death implication that humans believing they evolved is as ridiculous as robots believing they evolved gets annoying really fast. I'm not sure if the game designers/writers *meant* to make that implication, but if you've ever had an argument over intelligent design with a more conservative family member, some of the dialogue is going to sound very familiar. :P I got about 1/3rd of the way through the game before I lost interest, and quit playing after 2/3rds.
